My Kid's First Guitar Should Be..
My daughter is requesting me to buy her a guitar of her own (and I thought she loves piano, haha!). Anyway, I’m really planning to give her what she want since she is studying well and so far giving me good grades. She’s even one of the top in her class so I think she deserves one. But choosing the kind of guitar that’s best for her is not my forte. I don’t know what to buy. All I know is that I think, she needs a beginner’s guiar. But when I know that she grows older she will be asking for a more professional one. Like that of an excellent marshall jvm410h at guitar center. I ‘m just glad that my kids loves music like me and I hope this will be forever in them.

Expressing Her Opinions
My daughter is really growing up without me noticing it. She is now very vocal with her opinions and anything that she wanted to say. We were in a mall last month to buy the little girl her graduation dress. There was a time when we went to the comfort room because the little girl wanted to pee. And because the mall’s comfort room is nice, my daughter enjoyed it there. She went to the sink, wash her hands, used the liquid hand soap, and dried her hands with the hand dryers on the wall, and then she exclaimed, “I wish that we also had hand dryers in our bathroom, mom. I think it would be great to have one at home, right?” I was like stunned, but only answered that “yes, it would be great but we can’t just yet.” And then went the never ending whys. :)

A Reader at 4
My daughter can read now and she enjoys reading any word that she sees everywhere. Adapexin is one of the words that she can easily read and I’m really happy that at her age, she can already read so many English and Filipino words. I only don’t like it when her eagerness to read includes reading out loud my text messages even when we are in public places, LOL!Wednesday, December 08, 2010
As Fab As Big Girls
I like seeing my daughter wearing little girls shorts. I find her cute. It’s the perks of having a daughter. You can make her wear anything that’s in and fashionable. As a matter of fact there are even dresses, skirts, tops and even jeggings (leggings-like jeans) for little girls. I even bought her a new pair of skinny jeans. Little girls now can be as fashionable as their moms, LOL!

Despicable Me
I have been reading good reviews about this movie. I wonder if I will let the little girl watch this. We weren't able to watch Toy Story 3 last time since it was already out in the movie theaters when I decided to watch it. It's been a year since she last went to a movie, I guess I will let her watch this time..I've been planning a day out with her and this might be a good one.
She Misses Daddy...
I was surprised during the service this morning when my niece reported that my daughter was crying. I asked her why and she said that my daughter misses her dad…awwww…that was sad but I thought it a bit weird that my daughter had that kind of feeling while we a church service. I wonder what could be the cause why she suddenly misses her dad. I really felt sad too. As much as possible I don’t want her to feel that way but maybe we can really teach our children what to feel. She’s growing and she starting to really express what she feels. Haaay.

My Pre-Schooler
It's exam week next week, that's means I have to allot time to review my daughter. She's in kinder now and so far she's keeping up on her class. Everyday, she shows me star stamps on her hands or arms to let me know that she was good in her class that day. She can also read a few words now, which makes me proud. She would read anything that she sees around her. I know I won't have a hard time reviewing her. I believe that she can make good grades. :)Saturday, May 22, 2010
Why does this mascot appeals to kids so much?
We attended a birthday party this afternoon at Jollibee Regalado (Fairview). The moment this big bug entered the door all the kids went gaga over him. And yes, my little girl is one of his so many "fans". She couldn't take her eyes off him..she follows him every where he goes. She even asked me to have a picture taken with him. She love him so much, lol!
Anyway, here's her picture taken with him.

Anyway, here's her picture taken with him.

The Little Lady
This was a portrait taken before her graduation day. Look at her....she looks like a lady. She really is growing fast. Next month she'll be turning 4, haaaay. She's no longer my baby. In fact she's becoming a real big sister. She's naughty most of the time, bullying the little boy, but she really love her brother. She's always ready to help mommy take care of him though sometimes she feeds him with a remote control, lol!
Haay..my little girl, you're really growing so fast and I hope to be the best mom for you forever. I Love you..

The Graduate
Just want to share pictures of my daughter who graduated from Nursery last March 23. She got the Most Retentive in the class award. My husband and I were very proud of her. We thought she's not going to enjoy school at an early age of 3 but she did and she was able to last the 10 months. We hope that she will still enjoy her class next school year.

Late.
The little girl was late on her class today. Ang aga pa naman niya nagising at nag prepare for school because her dad will not be able to attend to her. Maaga din umalis ang daddy niya to go to Quezon Province. He told the school service of one of the student of the kinder class to fetch her at ihatid sa school today but alas, manong didn't show up. Nakakaawa tuloy ang anak ko. If I am just well and strong enough ako na ang naghatid sa kanya but this morning I felt dizzy and hard to breathe. So I told my father to get her and send her to school instead. Buti na lang may father is available.
She was late for 20 minutes. I hope this won't happen again.

Bob and Mickey.
I bought CDs of Mickey Mouse playhouse and Bob The Builder for the little girl and I'm not surprise to see her enjoying both. We haven't applied for a cable TV yet and I saw that the little girl is quite bored with what she usually see in the TV. Both CDs are her favorite now.

Proud Mommy
See this?
This is my daughter's hand writing. She can now write her full name now. She still has a little problem in writing it on the correct lines but yes, at 3 and !/2, she can now write her name all by her self.

She knows how to count correctly pictures in a set up to 18. The picture shows only up to 11. This was her previous lesson, but now they're on the number 18 already.
Well, I'm just a proud mom of a pre-schooler, :)

Plumper.
I noticed that since Ate Grace came to our house, my little girl gained weight. She’s been recovering from her quick weight loss. Her cheeks are plumper now and she’s eating a lot lately. I don’t know maybe she’s really “hiyang” when there’s a nanny to help mommy take care of her. And that’s what I really hope, that she’ll regain the weight she lose.
She sings the famous song.
Who wouldn't know the famous Villar jingle? Everyone hums it even little children because of the good melody. My daughter love to sing that song as well. She would immediately stopped whatever she's doing when the ad is being shown in the TV. And here's her version....

Big Sister
Since we learned that we're having another baby, I've got mixed emotions. For more than three years, I treated the little girl as my baby and the thought of having another child made me realized that there's going to be another addition to the family and that my little baby will now become an "ATE". During the first months of my pregnancy she had a hard time accepting that. She would always say that she's the baby and what's inside mommy's tummy is the "Ate". But as my tummy grows, her level of acceptance also improved.
Now, she would always talk to baby and tell him what she did in school, what she's eating (that it's not meant for sharing yet since baby is still inside), what she did with mommy and daddy (that she enjoyed the rides or the place so much and when the baby comes out they will play together...)
And when I cry because of leg cramps or tummy aches, she would always stop what she's doing and will ask me why and what's wrong..then she'll get anything that will soothe my pain or call her dad to help me.
That's my little girl...and though she's now the big sister, she would always remain mommy's baby :)

Field Trip
Just want to share some of my daughter's photos during her school's educational tour in Tagaytay last Thursday. I was the one who went with her since daddy needs to attend to important matters that day. Their itinerary for that day was first, theLeisure Farm, then to Paradizoo, and the last stop is at Gardenia factory.
I'm not able to take some pictures inside the Gardenia factory since electronic gadgets and digital cameras are prohibited inside the plant. There were also unexpected circumstances that caused delays to our trip so we're not able to buy bread as well since when arrived at the place, the store is already close.
It was a tiring day but I enjoyed it with my daughter :).

She's losing weight :(
I’m worried about my daughter’s continuous weight loss. She’s down to 13 kilos now from 15 kilos two months ago. (of course I did not gave her any of the best diet supplements!) She’s taking her daily vitamins, she drinks enough amount of milk everyday, but she doesn’t eat full meals. That's the problem....She only eats a lot when I’m eating with her, and that 's during dinner time only. Her dad can’t get her to eat a lot during lunch. He loses his power over her, and lunch time is becoming a begging-haggling event. Her pedia advised to give her an appetite stimulant but to no avail..her eating habit is still the same.
I don’t know what else to do with her. *sigh*

Ihel....Petsil....?!?
Isang gabi bago kami matulog... (this was after our long conversation and harutan)
Jaden: "Mommy, iihel ako tsaka pepetsil.."
Me: "Huh?"
Jaden: "Sige na mommy, iihel ako tsala pepetsil.."
Me: (thinking that she wants to pee) "okay, go to the CR.."
Jaden: "No, mommy..ihel tsaka petsil..."
Me: "Ok, sige..sige.." (giving her a go signal to do what she wanted)
Tumayo siya bigla, put both her hands on her hips and goes...
Jaden: Iheeel...(inhales air)...petsil....(blows the air)...iheeeel......petsil...(then again, and again...)
Grabe, hagalpak talaga ako ng tawa sa ginawa nya..lol! I was laughing my heart out when she noticed me. She stopped, gave me a curious look, and covered her face blushing...
Now I understand what she meant....iheeel...petsil!..iheeel....petsil...!
