Do you ever talk to yourself out loud? What do you talk about? - I often talk to my self when I've done something wrong or when I made a big blunder or embarrassing act
What stresses you out? - Work load specially when everything is tagged as "rush"
What are your secret talents? - I think I don't have one :D
I'm so happy to finally received the items I bought at ebay last week. I bought two leap pads. One is for my daughter and the other one is for my niece which my sister asked me to buy for her. It was delivered yesterday. The seller is so kind that when I told her that the other leap pad is not working she immediately told me that she will replace the item. She will have it pick up on Monday and deliver the replacement as well.
On the other hand, the little girl is so happy with her new gadget :D
Christmas is near and so I need to do my Christmas shopping for gifts now. I already bought the gifts for the kids but not yet for the big ones. I was thinking of what gift to give my mom. I see she loves clothes, jewelry and perfume, but she needs a new pair of glasses as well. She loves reading lately (pocket books during her free time) and she keeps on complaining about her eyeglasses. I want to buy her a new pair but I only allotted a particular amount for their gifts. I was thinking if I can get her a pair at Zenni Optical. I’ve mentioned on my previous post how cheap a pair at Zenni Optical is right? Their glasses start at $8, how affordable! And it’s real. It was featured in an article published by Chicago Tribune on July 2007.
There is also wide selection of frames for prescription glasses that we can choose from at Zenni Optical. I think my mom would love to have a pair that’s unique and classy like this one.
I’m sure my mom will love this one . I can almost see how her face will look like when she sees this.
I bought a toy keyboard for the little lady last week from Divi and I was right...she loves it! The keyboard comes with a toy microphone as well. She loves playing with it and singing with it.
I'm excited when hubby comes home next year. Hubby plays keyboard so he can teach the little lady to play it right. For now, she enjoys the mic...and she loves singing!
I’ve been feeling some pain in my eyes lately whenever I’m in front of my PC for a prolonged period of time. I think I really need glasses replacement (as I've mentioned before). I am still looking for a nice pair though but lately, can't find time. Oh, good thing there's an online glasses shop that I can check out.
I saw some Holiday Glass Frames From Zenni Optical a while ago which caught my attention (a picture can be a good reminder for a person like me, haha!)..There is actually a wide selection of nice frames but I like this one. I love the flower detail :).
ZenniOptical is one of the The popular online eyeglasses shop which offers $8 Complete Rx Eyeglasses! Where can you find any offer such as this? It’s overwhelming....I'll see if I'll be able to find time shopping for this as well...*whew*... busy me!
I won't make a long entry on this. I'm just so happy that I was able to go to the Richwell sale this afternoon with my sister. Maraming tao when we got there (mga 12 noon) and ang haba ng pila sa cashier. I didn't know na yun pala ang pila If I knew about it nag plan sana kami ng sister ko para mas mabilis...We linedup for 3 hours just to pay!! Well, will do that next time.
Anyway, I was able to buy stuffs for my daughter.

Ito lang muna for the meantime. There are a lot of items pa sana but I limit my self :D. I'm planning to buy a leap pad sana (@P2000) but for 4-8 years old lang ang available. I hope magkaroon ng beginner set on the coming days. May mga items din na mabilis naubos so unahan talaga at dapat mabilis pumili at mag-decide. But all in all sobrang worth it.
If you haven't visited yet, the schedule of sales are as follows:
November 21-22 November 28-30 December 5-7 December 12-14 December 19-23
The store is open at: 9am - 6pm on weekends and 1pm - 6pm weekdays
The address: Creative trade Center Compound #6 Industria St., Libis, Q.C. Tel#: 743-1658
I think there are a lot of items pa on the coming days. I will definitely go back.

I feel rushed and hasty. About this time every year, I feel the same. It’s because I’m always one of the committee members for our company Christmas Party. Aside from that, I’m also a member of almost all of the sum-committees, responsible for the food, decoration, invitation, program, games, and etc. We barely have four weeks to prepare and finalize everything. I feel I’ll get sick and zits (but no need for acne treatments, I’m sure about that) because of the restless, sleepless nights I’ll have on the coming days. Still a lot of things to do.....urrgh!
I saw the latest commercial of an anti-obesity capsule (as they termed) last week. Their ad goes “Tinatagong taba? Mag leso-fat”. The ad is catchy. Finally a competitor of xenical. I think these pills are effective. I’m just not sure of the side effect if there is. I’m thankful that I don’t need those weight loss pills or be conscious of hiding those bulges. My problem is how to gain weight. I’ve tried eating a lot. Tried taking supplements, milk and vitamins but to no avail. Anymore suggestions?
What was the first thing you thought when you looked at yourself in the mirror today? ~I need to gain weight and I need a new haircut.~
Do you have a recurring nightmare? If so, explain. ~Not nightmares but sweet dreams about my hubby. 6 months to go and he'll be back home so I feel excited :D~
List three foods you can’t stand: ~Local canned corned beef (so artificial) ~Mussels (except if baked) ~Cherry
Our church worship team is having problems with storing our files of songs. Each song leaders give cds for our song line ups and the songs are scattered. We have to compile them but we don’t have disk space in our church’s computer. One member suggested buying our own external hard drive to store the songs. Another suggested that each of us buy our own mp3 players. Personally, I don’t have to buy since I can manage with my phone but I am thinking about our musicians. I know them and I know their capacity. If only I’m rich I’ll give each of them ipods but for now, I can’t. Oh well, I know that every problem has a solution so I believe God will provide.
Five hours to go and the weekend's over. How was it? Our weekend was so-so. Nothing really exciting happened. Although last Saturday, I was able to pick-up my daughter's passport...finally! I'm sure she doesn't care about the passport as she doesn't still know how to use it, but when I came home and showed it to her, she shouted with excitement. It's just because she saw her picture and enjoyed counting the pages, lol! I told hubby about it and he's happy as well. Pwede na daw kami mag HK disneyland! hahaha! (wish ko lang)
We had lunch at my parent's house and waited for my sister to arrive, as we planned to continue our search for our business supplier. Went home tired. Slept early for the service the next day.
Sunday, I planned to go to the mall sana kanina after church but the rain did not permit us. Instead, we stayed home and watched ASAP and My Only Hope, featuring my favorite teen couple Kim and Gerald. I feel like a teen again whenever I watch these two. Bagay kasi sila and I like seeing them together (may kilig factor). Sana nga sila na lang eh, I hope they will end up with each other cause they really look good together. (I suddenly sounds showbiz, eeeewww!! hahaha!).
Anyways, the little girl is still sleeping that's why I'm able to blog. I hope tomorrow it won't rain na because ang hirap mag commute when it's raining. It will be Monday again. That means I have to face reality, back to work na. Hehehe. I can see a busy week ahead of me. But I won't feel bad. I'm thankful for my work!
I was amazed at the result of the 80 Days to wellness challenge which was participated by 10 of my colleagues. It ended last Wednesday where they had their final weigh-in and the winners will be announced on the 15th. Exciting prizes awaits the groups and one is a group trip to Boracay. Wow!
Anyways, a while ago on our GA, they’ve announced that our biggest weight loser lost 25 lbs. And when asked what he did, he said he ate less rice (carbo), religiously and regularly exercises, and jokingly included frequent visits to sauna--the greatest among all fat burners. lol!
The challenge has done them good. They look healthier and slimmer after 80 days and I hope they will be able to maintain that and continue to be health conscious even if the challenge is done.
I didn't understand what she's muttering so I asked her.."What are you saying?"
And she answered me: "Mommy, my name is cheden, mayla, douya!"
I laughed out loud when I heard that. Indeed my two year old already knows her name, bulol nga lang. Her name is Jaden Meekaila--- sounds like naman di ba? lol!
Our company joined the Access 2008 Exhibit in Mall of Asia. The event started yesterday and ends on Sunday, November 9. So if you happen to be in MOA during these days, you might want to stop by SMX and visit our booth. Some of the products that we brought there are our Advanced Laptop, I-View CCTV system, and Baron Antenna to name a few. We’re giving out stress ball, promotional pens, and other cute items to those who will visit our booth so hope you’ll come and visit.
There are times when I'm feeling toxic and restless overwork (like right now), or when I feel like chaos around me, this song soothes me and reminds me to keep on singing to the Lord.
Chris Tomlin - How Can I Keep From Singing From the album See the Morning
There is an endless song Echoes in my soul I hear the music ring
And though the storms may come I am holding on To the rock I cling
Chorus: How can I keep from singing Your praise How can I ever say enough How amazing is Your love How can I keep from shouting Your name I know I am loved by the King And it makes my heart want to sing
I will lift my eyes In the darkest night For I know my Savior lives
And I will walk with You Knowing You'll see me through And sing the songs You give
Chorus:
I can sing in the troubled times Sing when I win I can sing when I lose my step And fall down again I can sing 'cause You pick me up Sing 'cause You're there I can sing 'cause You hear me, Lord When I call to You in prayer I can sing with my last breath Sing for I know That I'll sing with the angels And the saints around the throne!
I was browsing the catalog that my boss gave me to look for possible corporate gift items which will be given to special people and bosses this Christmas. I was also looking for a gift as well for him. So I ran through the catalog and the mini golf bags caught my attention since he loves golf. It was a miniature golf bag which is a table organizer as well. A good idea, which I thought of adding to my list. Christmas is, what? 47 days away? And honestly, I don’t have a complete list yet of gifts to give. How about you? Have you shop for your gifts yet?

There are times that we need not rely only on our pay checks. It's good to think of something that we can call extra source of income. My sister and I believe that we can be business women. We’ve been conceiving this idea for quite some time now and we want to go radical and finally do the move. So yesterday, my sister and I went out sourcing for possible suppliers for the home business that we are thinking of. It was a tiring day but we’re glad about the things we’ve accomplished. With prayer and faith, we hope that this business will be a success.
Even as a child I never joined trick or treat. But because of my sister's persistent request, Jaden and her cousin went to their first trick or treat event. I bought her a costume of Tinkerbell and a pumpkin basket last Thursday and we were at Tiendesitas last Friday trick or treating with the rst of the kids. Nakakapagod pala . But my Jaden super loved her costume. Unfortunately, we arrived at the place one hour late so the kids were not able to get enough treats. But they enjoyed the magic show. All in all it was a fun day.
The left picture was taken last Thursday when I was fitting the costume. The picture on the right was during the magic show as she tries to climb on the grills.
Right picture: On their way to go around for treats. Left: Tired, so they rested for a while.
I have no idea that bikes and motorcycles can be as costly as a luxury car. Mercedes Benz has released their version of mountain bike. And the price? I think I can already by a decent car. What’s in that bike? I don’t know. Maybe the brand name speaks for the quality? I don’t know if the parts are as costly (or as cheap) too as Harley parts. I’m just thinking, with the present economic condition that even the greatest nation is experiencing a drift, will you still buy these highly priced cars or bikes?
How many hours of TV do you watch per week? Do you feel that's too much, not enough or just right?
I only watch TV when I get home from work. So that's 2-3 hours a day. So that means around 15 hours a week. Since we don't watch TV during weekends. I think that's enough. I also don't want my daughter to spent more hours on TV so I think I am setting her an example.
Which of the 5 senses do you feel is your strongest sense? I think it's my sense of smell.
What's the wackiest belief you held as a child?
When I was young I thought that dentist pull out a tooth with pliers. That's why I got scared. I also thought that teeth grows anytime :D
Sorry for the slight hiatus. Last week was a busy week for me and the weekend was spent with my daughter. I have a lot of things to post, but first, let me share with you an exciting contest happening at blipbit.com. Yes, Milet is having a contest!

Leave a comment on this post with the url where you posted about the contest. Put in your blog name (not your name) in the space for NAME in the comment section.
