Business to Ashes

It was just recently that the news about the market near our place was burned down. I was shocked because that market has been there since I was a child and the news that it was gone now saddened me although I seldom visit that market. Some say that the accident was intentionally done because there may be business people who will place new establishments. Whatever the cause, I feel sorry for the tenants and business owners. I don’t know if they have insurances but I hope they have. Some of them returned and put stalls on the side of the burned establishment to move on. One of the lessons entrepreneurs would get here is to get their businesses insured. They can get business insurance quote at TechInsurance.com to start with.

Maximizing December

Christmas is a time of celebrations. Here in our country there would be Christmas parties as early as first week of December so the demand for caterers is there. And this is an opportunity for food business owners to profit. I have a neighbor that accepts Short Order Cook Jobs during Christmas and it’s her way to earn extra as she maximize the benefits of the festive month. I wonder how I can also have extra income just like her this Christmas, hehe.

Who Loves Popcorn?

Who wouldn't love popcorn, right? It's one of most loved snacks when watching a movie. This is also my kids' favorite food to munch on during lazy weekends while watching our favorite DVDs. When we can't buy popcorn, I'll just get the microwavable popcorn which is hassle free and not so time consuming, perfect for a late night movie at home.

Popcorn can be a good business opportunity. There are lots of ways to handle a pop corn business. It can be a seasonal business or your daily source of income. I had a friend who used to rent his uncle's popcorn machine during all saints day, that's October 31 to November 1 and he stationed this machine in a crowded cemetery. It helps to know the culture in my country, people will be mobbing the cemeteries at this time, not just to visit their dead, but for families to get together and have their reunions. So, my friend saw this as the perfect opportunity for his pop corn. He said in those two days he earns twice his capital, so for him it's his best seasonal business. And he does this every year. Imagine the profit for two days? He actually gave me an idea so I have been considering this opportunity. Only, I don't know where to rent a popcorn machine. So if you love popcorn and you have the resources, don't just enjoy munching these buttery-flavored kernels, get the most out of it.

Food Business: Why Not?

I always love cooking. I think it runs in the family. And I don’t want to sound bragging but a lot of people have tasted the food that we cook and no one ever said bad things about how they tasted. A lot have even suggested that we put up a family owned food business or catering services. Well, why not? We actually thought about it but the lack of expertise with the nitty-gritty stuff and of course the needed capital have somehow halted us to pursue the idea. But honestly, we plan to pursue it somehow, someday. I’ve seen how technologies in the field of concessions have changed, and with how custom concessions successfully make cooking business easier now, I think we can possibly do our business plan and start our own concession business anytime soon. Honestly, I’m getting excited already. I'm even envisioning our own business name on catering tucks someday! :)

I'm still not into it, but I know it's worth it.

If only I have enough gold bullion reserves, I’d be so much happy. Well, who won’t be, right? One gold bullion in the market cost more than a thousand dollar already. So, if you have one and sell it to get outright cash the equivalent is still a significant amount. But for me, since I’m already looking into several investment and sources of extra income, I would definitely invest what I have. Gold is a unique but the most secured investment that most businessmen venture in nowadays. Gold has proven it’s worth even from the ancient times so if you don’t have gold yet but have enough cash to buy, I suggest you to invest on it. You’ll never go wrong.

The Place To Get Gold

My husband’s Indian friend and office colleague is getting married next month. He and his fiancĂ© are going back to India for this reason. He told him that he has to buy gold for his soon-to -be wife. He also told him that the cost of gold nowadays is getting high. Well, I told my husband to tell him about US Gold Bureau. United States Gold Bureau is the company that could best help him. They are committed to serving your gold investment needs and deals with a convenient market and competitive precious metal prices including gold. Hubby said, his friends was surprised to know about this. He further said that if such organization will expand to India, it will surely flourish there because India nationals are commonly fond of acquiring gold and during the wedding day they adorn themselves with a lot of these precious jewelries. Well, now that he knows, I'm sure he'll be fascinated with all their products.

Street Gold Buyers

Whenever I pass by the public market near our house, I see people sitting along the road with a sign board beside them that says they buy gold coins and old (vintage) or broken gold jewelries. I am not sure if they earn with this kind of business because I seldom see customers transact with them. I don’t know if what they’re buying from customers is being invested in some companies or they also have buyers with what they were able to collect. Well, I guess they do generate profit from it because if not they wouldn’t be there anyway. Well, gold is a good business and a wise investment. People who will venture into any gold related business will never go wrong with it.

Investing Gold

More businessmen nowadays are into investing in gold to secure their future. Gold has been proven to be a good investment over time. It doesn’t depreciate but instead appreciate. Some people collects and buy gold coins not just for their hobbies but for secured investment. They say that gold coins are best for those whose goal is long-term asset preservation and have additional concerns about capital or monetary controls. Some investor says that the 1933 gold coins from Europe and America have been treated by the U.S. government since the 1930s as historical items so they have higher value. Gold coins or gold bullion aren’t affected so much by inflation or deflation so it’s a definitely a wise investment for new players.

Business Minded

One of the best things to do today while we are faced with some kind of economic crisis is to cultivate an entrepreneurial spirit within ourselves. We need to be wise as to what business we can put up and yet not requiring much monetary investment. For example, we can try to sell used books that we gathered since many years back that we do not need and do not read anymore instead of keeping them or throwing them away. You can post them in the internet or use your garage space so will be able to cut off for the space rental. I think this can be feasibly successful.

Now Is The Time

The continuous decline of the value of dollar is quite alarming. Even investors are worried for the worst. So now, more and more investors are shifting into gold investments. They opted to buy gold bullion because its value continues to increase. Gold is said to be the safest investment especially in our uncertain economic condition. You can never go wrong in investing in gold even for a simple person. My sister thought of this when she was wrong in a jewelry shop. She invested in gold jewelries. And when she lost her job, these jewelries saved her and her family. Gold is a precious metal and there is no right time to invest in gold. Now is the time.

Investment thoughts

Now is the right time to buy gold bullion for investors especially in Thailand. The Capital Market Supervisory Board has just recently approved Gold exchange-traded funds or ETFs to hit the Thailand stock market. If you’re into stock investments, consider investing on valuable gold bullion. Gold has been tested as one of the best investment to take so investors can never go wrong in it. If I’m an investor I would never hesitate in investing in gold. Why? Because its value does not depreciate. It even continues to increase in value as time goes. If you’re not sure, you can study how god investment works. That’s what I’m doing now. I’m thinking about a good business to start with.

"Sidelines"

My business minded sister is asking me to be her reseller of products like Bath and Body Works, Mary Kay Make-ups and Neutrogena skin id. I am not a sales person so I don’t know if I can handle this “side-line” while on maternity leave. I told her I’ll try since I will be free of office related work during my ML but I can’t promise that I’ll be able to sell since I am not good at selling, hahaha! But I do hope I can still earn some while doing this, it’s still an additional income, hehe!

Why Gold?

Do you know of someone whose business is buying and selling gold? My parents has a friend who’s investing in gold and is now a successful businessman. I don’t know so much about this business and why investors buy gold then sell them after, but I think this is one of the best business to pursue and invest on. But first time gold buyers should be equipped with all the necessary information before venturing in this business, let alone buying their first gold bullion.

Why do they invest on gold? Well, first and foremost, gold is the most popular precious stone for an investment. It can be sold as gold bars or as precious jewelries when melted. Gold bullion have been used even by first Filipinos during the barter times in exchange for products from other countries like China.

Even before the existence of american eagle gold coins, gold has been used worldwide as money. And like money, all commodities were priced in relation to the relative & similar quantity of gold per region during the pre war period. Now, more and more investors believe that the value of gold will not go down but will continue to rise up instead. Thus, having gold for an investment makes it a safe haven for them against any economic, political, social or currency-based crises. When you have gold in your safe, you will definitely feel secure even if the economic condition is down. But like investing in stock markets, it’s also very risky to venture in this type of business.

As for me, I would really love to learn more about this business. Who knows, once I mastered everything about investing in gold, I could succeed and eventually helped out in our finances? At times like this we must be more pro active when it comes to looking for additional income for the family, right? That’s why I always search the net for some opportunity that will really help us. But since I know, we’re not yet capable of venturing into this business, financially speaking, I’ll just equipped myself with lots of info about investing in gold and maybe someday, I’ll be able to call myself a gold investor.

The Risk.

Some of my officemates are investing on stocks. Lately, affected maybe by the economic downfall, some of their stock investments are losing so before it happened, they decided to sell it. Investing on stocks is really risky. Even our office finance officer discouraged them in stock investment especially if the money that they are investing is hard-earned and not the extra. So to make my self more knowledgeable about stock investments, I started searching the net for it and came across PowerOptions, a very helpful site that guides stocks investors. They offer free online tools like educational materials, covered calls, and toll-free customer support for their clients. They also offer a 14-day free trial to those who want to try their service. As I’ve said stock investment is risky, so we should really equipped our selves with enough knowledge if we want to venture into this business.

On our way to make it happen!

There are times that we need not rely only on our pay checks. It's good to think of something that we can call extra source of income. My sister and I believe that we can be business women. We’ve been conceiving this idea for quite some time now and we want to go radical and finally do the move. So yesterday, my sister and I went out sourcing for possible suppliers for the home business that we are thinking of. It was a tiring day but we’re glad about the things we’ve accomplished. With prayer and faith, we hope that this business will be a success.
