Summer's Officially Here

 Yes, and the kids are all ready for it. Almost everyday, they enjoy swimming in their official summer pool, hehe. It's quite small but surely, they are enjoying. Summer isn't what it is called without them enjoying the cool water of a pool. Hopefully we can visit the beach some time this month so they could enjoy more.

Summer

Summer is over in the Philippines but in some parts of the world, it’s just starting. And I bet, resorts and beaches are jam-packed. In the Philippines, public pools are always jam-pack during summer so resorts and pool owners see to it that their pool filters are properly working for health and safety reasons of course. No one would love to dive in a pool with dark and cloudy water. Public pools are prone to this so much so that it needs good filtration systems. Anyway, talking about summer, I missed going to the beach last summer because I just gave birth. I had no beach or pool experience this year. I hope next year, my kids and I will be able to enjoy summer.

Above Ground Pools: Understanding the Value

It's happening again: the days are turning hot; the hours are dragging slow; and summer looms like a promise you don't wish to keep. 3. Size: Though some models can rival any in-ground selection, many of these pools are shaped economically. They will not dominate a yard, but will instead fit comfortably within it. This allows you to keep your lawn, not filling it to trenches as you carve the supposedly perfect escape.

Summer Somewhere

Its summer now is some parts of the world. Oh how I miss summer because here in the Philippine summer ended so fast. Lourie, my friend, was excited because her daughter will be joining a summer camp for the first time while she and her husband will be going to the Outer Banks for a summer escapade. How sweet. I wish There are also activities like these in my place during summer. It would be fun!

Summer in Subic

It was a week with rain showers and I thought our planned summer outing won't push through. But God is really good for answering my prayer. I asked for a good weather for this event, and He gave it.

So last Saturday, we had our long over due summer outing. With my colleagues, we drove to Subic. We don't have our annual company outing (due to the global crisis) so we planned our own trip.

Here are pics while we're on the road. It's my first time to travel through SCTEX. I can't believed that the roads are actually built through mountains. The trip was quick because of the good roads.

We arrived before 11am. Because we're all hungry we immediately ordered our lunch. then strolled the place. Btw, the place is Wild Orchid Beach resort.

After lunch, we then went for a swim. We opt to use the pool since the beach area is too crowded and my daughter didn't want the feel of sand on her feet. :D

Unlike our company outing last year, my daughter enjoyed it more now. She enjoyed using the floaters. See?

We only got a little problem when the group decided to stay over night. It was originally a day tour but some colleagues want to enjoy the day to the fullest :D. So we had no choice but to stay with them although I didn't like the idea because of my daughter. Good thing we brought enough milk and a diaper. But my daughter got cranky in the middle of the night, so I didn't get to sleep the whole night. Nanibago yata siya and where we slept is not really comfortable. The five of us , me, my daughter, lilet and her son, Iori and my nanny, slept in one bed! :D

By four am, we head on to leave. We arrived home at 7am giving me enough time to prepare for the church service that morning. After church, we slept the whole afternoon.

All in all, it was fun! Tiring but FUN!

Summer's over :(

It seems that summer is almost over. It started raining in April and now almost every afternoon the sky is dark and rain shower’s pouring. Sigh…and we haven’t had our family outing yet. I haven’t had my fill of summer yet! I’m not able to wear my swim wear and the vintage sunglasses I got from a very good friend. Sigh… Does it mean I’ll wait for next summer? :D

Our Company Outing and my daughter's first swimming experience

It was our company's summer outing last Saturday at Coral View Beach Resort in Morong, Bataan. I brought with me my daughter and her nanny. It was my daughter's first time to attend our company outing and her first time mag swim na medyo may isip na kahit konte :D. If Jerry's here it could have been more fun...

We traveled early Saturday morning to reach the resort by 8:30. I woke her up at 3:30 because our call time in the office is at 4:30. We arrived at the meeting place at the exact time. While traveling, my daughter was observing the roads. She was quietly enjoying the trip.

We arrived at the venue 15 minutes before 9am. We started with a game first then we gave the employees their free time to enjoy the resort afterwards.

The day was really hot so I took my daughter to the pool to take a splash immediately after the game.

At first she was really screaming and crying hard. She seems scared of the water. It took me mga 30 minutes to convince her to try to atleast dip her feet in the water. She doesn't want her nanny to hold her, siguro she feel more secure if I was the one holding her e.

I thought of putting on her swimming vest (bakit kasi di ko naisip agad..) She loves this vest because of the fishes. After wearing it she felt secured na siguro kaya ayun, she began to smile and enjoy the water na...

By the way, my officemate also brought her son Iori with her. Nakakatuwa kasi whenever they meet (my daughter and Iori), the little boy would hug and kiss her. Pagdating pa lang namin sa office before taking the trip, the little boy immediately hug and kissed her upon seeing my daughter...my morning kiss agad ang baby ko! :D

Hmmm....mukhang magiging childhood sweethearts pa yata ang dalawang ito! :D. Jaden is 4 months older than Iori.
