Having a fireplace is a necessity in the homes of almost all western families especially those living in places where there’s winter and snow. And this is the time of the year when fire places are being cleaned and spruce up for the cold season. There are those who even installed new mantels to make it more attractive (I saw these nice mantels at
MantelStore.com which will look perfect this Christmas!). We don’t need a fireplace in the country where I live but I was able to stay in a hotel where there’s a fireplaces. I wonder what it feels like to be in front of it and actually experiencing the warm it gives when it’s lit on winter days.
