Something I Won't Dare To try

According to what I have read in the internet, arturo fuente cigars are known to be the finest cigar in the world not just in the US. It started to make a name for Arturo Fuente’s family since 1912. For nearly a century it has continued to soar in the cigar-making industry along with the JC Newman cigars. I am wondering what is about this thing that made it so special. Well, maybe because I am not a smoker and the health advisory also reminds the public that cigarette smoking is dangerous to one’s health. That is why no matter how finest the cigar could be, I will never taste it.

Have You Imagined Living on Motorhomes?

How convenient it would be if people will just live in motor homes instead of the houses that we live in these days. People can go wherever they want while inside their homes, how exciting! But I guess, it would be very chaotic. People will have not had permanent address so sending mails or packages will be a major problem. I guess motor homes are just really for those whose work demands it. I know some popular stars who own motor homes. I wonder if they’ve got motorhome insurance for their units. It’s a must to have one since motor homes is like a real home that may contain valuable properties inside. I’m not a start but I also want to have my own motor home someday.

I'm still not into it, but I know it's worth it.

If only I have enough gold bullion reserves, I’d be so much happy. Well, who won’t be, right? One gold bullion in the market cost more than a thousand dollar already. So, if you have one and sell it to get outright cash the equivalent is still a significant amount. But for me, since I’m already looking into several investment and sources of extra income, I would definitely invest what I have. Gold is a unique but the most secured investment that most businessmen venture in nowadays. Gold has proven it’s worth even from the ancient times so if you don’t have gold yet but have enough cash to buy, I suggest you to invest on it. You’ll never go wrong.

Is Your Spouse Married to Online Casino Games?

In a perfect world, free from marital distractions, we’d shut off our Blackberrys, I-Phones, laptops and DVR recorders at the end of a long day. We’d want to spend free time with our spouses, children and loved ones, and not with our bosses and supervisors via e-mail, reality stars via television or card players via online casino games. Unfortunately though, that’s exactly where most overstressed, overworked parents and families gravitate at the end of the day. Even though we may not know it, these tiny daily distractions actually chip away at our bonds with out husbands and wives over time.

Carving quality time for your spouse, when both of you have jam-packed schedules day and night can be a challenge, for sure – but if you consciously make the decision to prioritize your time, it becomes effortless. You’ll find yourself looking forward to that time after work with your loved ones, and not with your beloved television remote or computer mouse. To achieve more balance in your relationship and your life, you must first make a few difficult changes.

First, it’s important slowly pry yourself away from the digital distractions after work hours – and include your spouse in your hobbies. Instead of playing online casino games, grab a deck of cards and sit with your family around the table. You’ll eventually find you enjoy yourself even more when you engage in a favorite activity with your loved ones instead of an anonymous opponent online.

Secondly, make a point to sit and have meals together, engaging in conversations about your day. It’s too easy to grab dinner and plop in front of the television or computer – but you’re missing out on crucial quality time in your marriage. These small changes are easy to work into your daily life, and can greatly improve your marriage. Learn to enjoy your favorite activities together instead of zoning out separately in front of your respective screens.

What To Do On The Long Weekend?

It’s going to be a long weekend next week. It would be great if I’ve reserved Branson vacations for me and the kids. IT would be so much fun bonding with them in a relaxing place. But since I haven’t booked any vacation getaway, maybe we’ll just stay at home and cuddle each other. The weather lately is not good for the kids so staying at home is more appropriate.

Why Not?

Honestly, I have never actually seen gold coins or people who buy gold bullion in my life. I see gold in a form of jewelries like rings, necklace, and bracelets but not in coins or bullion. However the form maybe, this is the unchanging fact about gold: we all want to have it. People crave for it and it has even become the world’s yardstick if a nation is wealthy or not – by their gold reserves. I learned that a country cannot produce monetary bills and coins that exceed their gold reserve. If that is true, then our country should invest in buying more gold and invest them for we know that their value is always rising up. In that way our money’s purchasing power will also increase.

Friday Frustrations #1

It's my first time to join this meme...well I think that this is just so timely because I have some frustrations today, lol!

I'm frustrated because:

1. My little girl snapped off my digital camera, now I have to find a shop to repair it.
2. Of issues at work...employee concerns that were being addressed properly.
3. I still have cough. :(

My Pre-Schooler

It's exam week next week, that's means I have to allot time to review my daughter. She's in kinder now and so far she's keeping up on her class. Everyday, she shows me star stamps on her hands or arms to let me know that she was good in her class that day. She can also read a few words now, which makes me proud. She would read anything that she sees around her. I know I won't have a hard time reviewing her. I believe that she can make good grades. :)

Gold Coins vs. Gold Bars?

Thinking of investing in the gold market? Why not try gold coins? Nowadays, people who want to invest on gold chose gold coins over gold bars. Gold bars obviously are bigger and heavier and most of all not safe to carry. But at any rate, either bar or coin, you can buy it at a very reasonable price at United States Gold Bureau. And you don’t have to carry them by the way. US Gold Bureau can also put this as your investment in a bank. Gold is a precious metal that never depreciates. Its value is ever rising up as years go by. Therefore, you will be assured that your heirs will enjoy them in the future with so much accumulated interest.

Thankful Thursday: The Lord Motivates

I'm concern with what's happening lately at work. Issues that concerns the employee motivations, futures and career paths. Been hearing a lot of co-employee's complaints lately which I know are reasonable enough...and the company seems to be insensitive about it. It's really sad that the employees are feeling low. But what I'm thankful is that the Lord keeps on motivating me. Even though everyone around me seem to make me feel down, God's word is lifting my spirit up. I am reminded of this scripture:

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart,
as working for the Lord, not for men.”
Col. 3:23
The Lord is really great! Things might look discouraging but He keeps on giving hope.

New Look

I'm loving the new look of my blog now. After a year, I was able to change it. Now, I'm wearing blue. Got this from Ipietoon (thanks so much!) but I just tweaked it a bit. I removed the note-like header and replaced it with a family cartoon image. I love it because it look just like my family. I don't know how long will I wear this look, because whenever I feel a change I might change it anytime, hehe! But for now, I'm happy with how this blog looks.

The Good and the Bad Sides

Since the beginning, gold is one of the precious metals that have caught human’s attention. It seems to have the magic or hypnotizing power that attracts human being to desire to possess and accumulate more of it. Some had gone into so much gold obsession that they can do anything at the expense of others just to acquire their gold. Well, that is the sad side of the matter. Now, the good side is that you can choose to buy gold coins if you like to preserve your wealth. You can try it with the United States Gold Bureau. Not only will you be able to preserve your wealth and secure your future but also your expand purchasing power.

Relaxing

Another vi.sualize.us photo which I found funny, hehe! Well this is just to light my mood. Company issues is getting on my nerves already and I can't seem to see a bright future ahead. Some office mates are already complaining about this and that and all I can say to them is that, they have a choice. Haay.... I pray that somehow, our sentiments will be heard.

I saw this interesting picture at vi.sualize.us, (a site where you can find lots of great pictures)

I believe at what the pictures says. Well, no one really has the right to judge and be judge. There were just things that's going on around me lately and I am just being sentimental :)

The Place To Get Gold

My husband’s Indian friend and office colleague is getting married next month. He and his fiancé are going back to India for this reason. He told him that he has to buy gold for his soon-to -be wife. He also told him that the cost of gold nowadays is getting high. Well, I told my husband to tell him about US Gold Bureau. United States Gold Bureau is the company that could best help him. They are committed to serving your gold investment needs and deals with a convenient market and competitive precious metal prices including gold. Hubby said, his friends was surprised to know about this. He further said that if such organization will expand to India, it will surely flourish there because India nationals are commonly fond of acquiring gold and during the wedding day they adorn themselves with a lot of these precious jewelries. Well, now that he knows, I'm sure he'll be fascinated with all their products.

He's Beautiful..Finally Airing on ABS

Finally! my favorite Korean Drama will be aired on ABSCBN. I've been waiting for this since April because I already watched it but wanted to watched it again with it's Filipino dubbing. He's Beautiful is one of the Best K-Drama I've ever watched because I love music and this drama has plenty of it. And the cast, I fell in love with them, especially him...Jang Geon Suk! well, I won't tell the story story here. Watch it and fell in love as well.

Siblings

This was taken yesterday. I love taking pictures of the kids when they are together. I simply love them both! Little boy has was trying to sit on his own here while his sister holds him. Well, she loves him so much that she doesn't want him to fall, hehe! Typical of a loving sister. I just hope that they will both grow up caring and loving each other.

School for Future Beauty Experts

B Street design claims to be one of the most dynamic cosmetology schools in Wichita, Kansas City. It says that they can make your dreams come true. If you want to engage in this business, its reality can be within your grasp. This school expertly trains beauticians who will be experts and professionals in the future. This is a very good principle and mission to do. You don’t have to selfishly make business and just serve your own interest. Real success is measured by making others happy and likewise successful. That is altruism. Let’s just hope that these cosmetology schools will really “walk their talk”.

Palace tells pols: Avoid claiming credit for projects
abs-cbnNEWS.com
Posted at 08/09/2010 3:06 PM | Updated as of 08/09/2010 3:53 PM

MANILA, Philippines - Malacañang sees no need to remind government officials to avoid placing the name and image either of President Benigno Aquino III or themselves on promotional materials for public projects.

Presidential spokesman Edwin Lacierda compared the move to the Aquino administration's "no wang-wang" policy, or government vehicles' non-use of sirens.

He said government officials should follow the president's example.

"Parang wang-wang yan e. Di mo na kailangan sabihin. Itong ginawang ehemplo ng Pangulo, siguro marunong na rin kayong sumunod kahit na walang utos sa inyo. You should get the drift already," Lacierda stressed.

Echoing the Palace's stand on the issue, Sen. Francis Escudero has filed Senate Bill 2187 that seeks to ban the naming of government projects after politicians or other people.

It has been common practice for national and local government officials to claim credit for infrastructure projects built during their tenure.

The bill proposes to punish violators with 1-year imprisonment and a fine ranging from P100,000 to P1 million.

This is good. I do hope that government officials will strictly follow. Finally, someone raised this concern and hopefully will be able to materialized.

Anevay's Birthday

Last July 24, we attended Anevay's 4th birthday (Blogger friend Milet's daughter). My daughter loves attending birthday parties so she's so excited. And of course she's a big fan of Jollibee so upon knowing that the party will at Jollibee, that made her even more excited. After we had our lunch we went to SM Marikina to buy a gift for the celebrant and she personally picked the gift. She even said that Anevay will surely liked it, lol!

I told my helper to come with us so that Johan will be able to attend to. It's my son's first time to attend a birthday party so I'm not surprised to see his reactions when we entered the place. He seems to be excited upon seeing a lot of kids and colorful balloons. He likes to touch the balloon that his sister was holding and his eyes are following it everywhere it goes, see the pic? LOL!

She didn't want to join the games so she just watched the kids as they play.

But of course, my daughter's party experience won't be complete if she won't be able to have a picture with the big orange bug! When Jollibee entered the room, her eyes twinkled. She's kept on asking me that she want's a picture with Jollibee.

My daughter really had fun. Jollibee made her day. Thanks Mommy Milet for inviting us :)
