She just sent me a chestnut chinchilla rex-mandarin trim fur reversible jacket which she shops personally via www.madisonavemall.com .. the design is so cool, stylish & practical. cant wait to ramp it off my office within the week. Checked the site & seen several collections that I opt to dish out some of my savings with next year.

Home Idea
One of my neighbor here had their front yard assembled like a patio and put some Bermuda grass and a twig swing with patio cushions. I just noticed that they left hem soaking in the rain, tsk..tsk. I think setting a yard like them is not a good idea. Our place is prone to rain because were situated in a mountainous area, so ideally our front yards should be covered, that was what the architect told us and now I know he’s right. With these continuous rains an extended area to dry your clothes outside is best.

Beauty Critic
Some girls are expert in makeup but some girls are not. That’s why it’s good to check websites like www.beautycritic.com if a woman wants to know something about the beauty product she is eying. I for one is clue on beauty products that aren’t locally manufactured so reading her reviews helps. Olivia, the author of the site does not claim to be an expert in all beauty products but still, you can trust her reviews. Girls, we want to look beautiful but along side, we don’t want to waste our money on products that aren’t good buys so better read and search first before buying anything. It saves us a lot.

Add Something Practical to Your Christmas List
When making a Christmas list, most people don't like to add practical things like underwear or shoes. In fact, these are extremely rarely put on Christmas lists. When you think about it, though, they definitely should have a place. Of course no one wants to only get practical things for the holidays, but getting a few things that will be used on a regular basis is always nice.
When you are making your shopping and wish lists, think about things that you need rather than just what you want. For example, if you only have sandals, you may want to consider asking Santa for some boots or close-toed shoes. If you have lost weight recently, some new clothes that fit could be just what you want and need! Or maybe your microwave is on the fritz. Getting a new one rather than having to go out and get one after it has completely died is extremely helpful in the long run.
On the other hand, you don't have to only ask for responsible things. We all have things that we want that are not necessities, or anything close. Video games, gaming systems, ebook readers, and new cell phones are frequently on the top of many people's lists. These are all great. Entertainment and fun are huge parts of the holidays. So, even if you do make the switch to putting practical, responsible items on your wish list this year, don't forget to put on some things that are fun as well. Even something like a gift card to a spa or massage parlor could be a great fun gift. Being able to relax and enjoy yourself is a great way to spend this year's holidays.

Travel Comfortably
When traveling to other countries having your own car is not necessary. Going around is a breeze with car rentals. This is what my boss does when he travels. When he went to visit his son last year, he got the service of an orlando car rental. He has an international driver’s license as well so driving was not a problem. He was able to drive anywhere in Florida, just like having his own car. I just don’t know how much did he paid for it. It might be a little bit expensive but still it provided comfort to his travel.

Gold Coins vs. Gold Bars?
Thinking of investing in the gold market? Why not try gold coins? Nowadays, people who want to invest on gold chose gold coins over gold bars. Gold bars obviously are bigger and heavier and most of all not safe to carry. But at any rate, either bar or coin, you can buy it at a very reasonable price at United States Gold Bureau. And you don’t have to carry them by the way. US Gold Bureau can also put this as your investment in a bank. Gold is a precious metal that never depreciates. Its value is ever rising up as years go by. Therefore, you will be assured that your heirs will enjoy them in the future with so much accumulated interest.

Keeping Your Pets Safe
You love your pets, and you always want to keep them healthy and happy. You take them to veterinarian for regular checkups. You keep them healthy by getting them checked for heartworm and use preventative medications such as Frontline Plus. You give them a healthy and happy home. But there are some hazards around the home that you should be aware of.
For instance some foods and drinks that we humans enjoy can cause serious harm to your pets. Alcoholic and caffeinated beverages are harmful as is chocolate which can cause liver damage. Fatty foods can be dangerous as well. Some other known food hazards that your pets should not eat include grapes (including raisins), onions and macadamia nuts. Also keep medications of any kind out of reach of your pets—aspirin is very harmful to cats especially.
There are many other household items that can hurt your family companion. In the garage keep your pets away from antifreeze, rodent bait, fertilizers, and pesticides. Believe it or not, that ice melt product is especially harmful, as are car care products including oil and general cleaners.
If you have a pool or pond, keep the products used in those water features out of reach of your pets. Other potential household dangers include electrical cords and any other loose wires or codes that your pet could possible chew or become entangled in.
When traveling with your pet in your car, never put your pet in the back of your truck. He or she may fall or jump out while the vehicle is moving; don’t tie them to the bed of the truck either. Use a securely anchored crate if you must transport your pet in the back of your truck.
And finally don’t leave your pet inside your car during hot weather. Even a few minutes in a hot car can cause serious injuries including heatstroke or brain damage.

Stubborn Acne?
I have read from an article in the internet that ProNexin can rid your skin of the majority of even the most serious acne within the first 7 days of use. Wow! That’s great news right? ProNexin contains some of the nature’s best ingredients like green tea, silk peptides, rosemary, vitamins C and A to name a few. However, some users’ review reported a cool and tingly feeling upon first application. Well, that can be a minor “con” so long as it is credibly effective. A lot of users on the other hand are raving about it saying it is the most effective, affordable, and natural acne treatment ever So, do you have acne problems? Fret not for ProNexin is here to help you out.

Just a tip.
I was writing some important numbers on my new planner and this came into my mind:
It’s a basic thing to have emergency assistance numbers on hand. This is important especially if we are running the house on our own without a helper or we are working wives of OFW’s who leaves the care of our house and children to nannies and helpers. A lot of serious incidents can happen at home when we are out so it’s important to have these important numbers on hand. And nannies and helpers should also be trained on how to use this during emergencies. Some important numbers to remember are the fire department, hospitals, family doctors, police stations and of course mobile numbers of everyone in the house.
This is really important, so moms put this in mind.

Cleaning Stuff Toys without Throwing them in the Laundry

- Place toys in a bag.
- Pour ½ cup of baking soda into bag.
- Shake toys around until they are well coated. The baking soda will help draw out any dirt, soot, and odors.
- Remove toys from bag and dust off any large amounts of baking soda.
- Use a vacuum cleaner with a hose attachment to suck up any remaining residue.

Glasses, I need a new pair!
I’ve been feeling some pain in my eyes lately whenever I’m in front of my PC for a prolonged period of time. I think I really need glasses replacement (as I've mentioned before). I am still looking for a nice pair though but lately, can't find time. Oh, good thing there's an online glasses shop that I can check out.
I saw some Holiday Glass Frames From Zenni Optical a while ago which caught my attention (a picture can be a good reminder for a person like me, haha!)..There is actually a wide selection of nice frames but I like this one. I love the flower detail :).
ZenniOptical is one of the The popular online eyeglasses shop which offers $8 Complete Rx Eyeglasses! Where can you find any offer such as this? It’s overwhelming....I'll see if I'll be able to find time shopping for this as well...*whew*... busy me!

How to identify products from China
I got this forwarded email from a friend who works in Unilab. I don't know who is the original author of this but I'd like to thank him for sharing. Here's a way to determine if a product is from China...
Dear friends,
The whole world is scared of China made products. Can you differentiate which one is made in Taiwan or China? Let me tell you...the first 3 digits of barcode 690, 691, 692 are MADE IN CHINA 471 as in the sample below is Made in Taiwan .
It is our human right to know, but the government and related departments never educate the public, therefore we have to RESCUE ourselves.Nowadays, Chinese businessmen know that consumers do not prefer products "made in China", so they don't show from which country it is made. However, you may now refer to the barcode. Remember if the first 3 digits are: 690-692 then it is made in China.

30 ~ 37 FRANCE
40 ~ 44 GERMANY
49 - JAPAN
50 - UK

Don't be scammed
Are you sick and tired of receiving calls from annoying callers? Calling almost everyday, offering numbers of services, leaving messages on your voice mailbox or worst using your voicemail service but not leaving any message at all? I know it’s hard to get rid of them but I believe you can do something. You can report them to your phone service providers to block them from calling your numbers and you can also post their numbers to this site and report them as harassing telemarketers so others will be aware that these numbers are not worth their time and NOT be scammed. Visit the site now.

Let's do our share.
With the present energy crisis, where fuel and electricity keeps on rising, households should think of ways to save and conserve. A lot of car owners now are opting to use public transports such as buses and trains, which is good because less cars running along public roads, less traffic congestions. I think it’s not practical now to use a car when you can commute with the high cost of fuel at P60 per liter! In the case of electricity, I think houses with wine refrigerators separate from the usual kitchen refs should consider using just one. Also another way to conserve electricity is to unplug appliances that are not in use. Turning them off is not enough. As for me, I unplugged my ref during the night and plug it in the morning. I am not sure yet its effect on my electricity consumption. I’ll find out on my next bill but I hope it will somehow lower my bill.

Best Buy
Being a practical person that I am, I see to it that I always got the best buy. For me, not because the item is costly it’s always the best. Well, some costly things really are but sometimes, we cannot just rely on that thought. We can always find some things of the best quality but at lower prices if you are a very intuitive and wise buyer. How to become a wise buyer? Observe, ask, compare, and research. I think these are some of the things we should do before exercising our buying powers :D.
