Know Thyself

I got this from an email this morning and decided to share it to you...

(an excerpt from The Power of Attitude by Mac Anderson)

You have to be, before you do, to have lasting inner peace. In other words, making a living is not the same as making a life. Find what makes your heart sing and create your own music.

Many people work all their lives and dislike what they do for a living. In fact, I was astounded to see a recent USA Today survey that said fifty-three percent of people in the American workplace are unhappy with their jobs. Loving what you do is one of the most important keys to maintaining a positive attitude. You can’t fake passion. It is the fuel that drives any dream and makes you happy to be alive. However, to love what you do, the first step is to self-analyze, to simply know what you love. We all have unique talents and interests, and one of life’s greatest challenges is to match these talents with career opportunities that bring out the best in us. It’s not easy –
and sometimes we can only find it through trial and error – but it’s worth the
effort.

Ray Kroc, for example, found his passion when he founded McDonalds at the age of 52. He never “worked” another day in his life.
John James Audubon was unsuccessful for most of his life. He was a terrible businessman. No matter how many times he changed locations, changed partners, or changed businesses, he still failed miserably.

Not until he understood that he must change himself did he have any shot at success.

And what changes did Audubon make? He followed his passion. He always had loved the outdoors and was an excellent hunter. In addition, he was a good artist and as a hobby would draw local birds.

Once he stopped trying to be a businessman and started doing what he loved to do, his life turned around. He traveled the country observing and drawing birds, and his art ultimately was collected in a book titled, Audubon’s Birds of America. The book earned him a place in history as the greatest wildlife artist ever. But more importantly, the work made him happy and provided the peace of mind he’d been seeking all his life.

How do you find your purpose in life? There are no easy answers, but here are two practical tips that can help:

1. Discover Your Gifts – We’re all unique and each of us has our own special gifts. Make a list of what you consider your strengths and your weaknesses. Next, don’t just assume your assumptions are correct. Get feedback from what Ken Blanchard calls “trusted truth-tellers” – friends and family members who won’t just tell you what you want to hear but who will share their true opinions. With their help you can get a realistic perspective of your gifts.

2.Discover What Moves You – Find your passion and strive to live your life around it. Make your list. Do your homework. There is this caution, however...have patience. Your purpose in life probably won’t surface overnight, but like love, it will find you when you least expect it.

Finding your reason for being brings a positive attitude that can be unstoppable.

In "Other"Words: Miracles do happen

"Miracles have happen when God's people come together in prayer"

~ Billy Graham ~

When I was in the midst of an unhealthy relationship, I prayed that God would take me out and give me peace. He answered by allowing me to meet a very good friend, now my husband. Who was God's answer to my prayers. When our daughter was diagnosed of neonatal siezure, we prayed earnestly for God's healing upon her...her lab tests resulted negative. I can add more to my list of answered prayers and my only point here is...there is really POWER in prayer.

Some people take prayer lightly. Some take it as the last resort. Some people only pray when they found themselves helpless. When they're already feeling low and spent..when they are already at witsend. It's as if saying "I have done everything I could, Lord...I'm allowing you to do yours now."...this shouldn't be the case, but most often than not this is what we do.

Praying should be one of our duty as Christians. Cause when we pray, God reveals himself to us. The more time we spent in prayer the more God reveals himself. And through that, we are having a wonderful relationship to the father. We are able to know his views on our everyday decisions and we are getting his answers from our different situations. With time spent talking to God we will be able to praise and worship Him in spirit and in truth. And miracles big or small happens when people seeks God through prayer.

I have also my list of unanswered prayers, but this doesn't keep me from spending time with him because it teaches me about waiting...

This week's quote was from , Christelle of Beloved Mama. She has chosen a quote by Billy Graham.

Sounds good

Our church is allotting a large chunk of our budget for the music ministry. Our pastor wanted our sound system to be excellent. Just recently the head of our technical team bought some speakers and speaker mount. So last Sunday, our worship service was great. We had a good mixed of the sounds, of course, courtesy of our soundman. The additional speakers made a total difference.

I visited the office of our developer last Sunday to pay for our house’s initial equity. I also visited the area where our house will be built. It’s good that its already being develop although still on the phase 1 environmental land development but enough for me to be assured that somewhere there is where our house will be. I met a friend who happens to get also her property there and she said that we’ll have our houses ready to be occupied by next year.

My B-I-L

My future brother is a medical technician and a computer techy in one. He works in our city’s health center as lab technician but he also loves computers and in fact he owns a computer shop. He’s our handyman when our computer breaks down. My sister learned using computers and some of his toys like the xbox 360 because of him.

They will be wed next month and I am their wedding coordinator. I think he’s a good addition to our family.

8 Random facts about Jaden

I was tag by Milet..I enjoy doing this tag..thanks sis.

I will just give some bits of facts about her since I seem to have narrated here some of her milestones already….

  1. I delivered Jaden thru C-section
  2. We named her Jaden Meekaila because (1) We want her initials to be the first letters of our names (Jerry and Mhay) and (2) we chose “Jaden” because it means God has heard and Meekaila, from the rootword “Meek” which is the character we want her to have until she’s grown up.
  3. When she was three weeks old, we noticed that she was shaking when she’s in deep sleep. She was hospitalized for a week. She went through thorough observation. She even had undergone several unsuccessful lumbar tap to determine if it’s an infection. Finally, the doctor told us that it’s just a neonatal seizure will she will just outgrow. She did not have seizure attacks since then.
  4. She knows how to say the magic word “thank you”. She says this whenever she receives something o kahit siya na ang nagbibigay.. she still says “Ten chu”. :D
  5. She can identify the name of her dolls and stuff toys. She can name them one by one whenever she’s asked to.
  6. She got her dad’s skin complexion but she got my lips and dimples although mababaw lang..hehehe
  7. She love’s chicken. She can identify chicken from fish. She wants to eat by herself. She loves yogurt and juices. Pero sadly now, medyo mahina siya kumain.
  8. She’s afraid of cockroach. Kahit hindi ipis whenever she sees something black sa kitchen floor she shouts “eypish!”

These are some of the things about my little lady.

I'm tagging Nice and Kitts :)

On insurance

I have very few knowledge about insurance. I don’t even know about a mortgage life insurance. Last year, we were trying to acquire some insurance for us but then when we studied it further we found out that getting pension plan seems much better a life insurance and educational plan. But early this year when we decided to get first our own house, our plans for getting insurance was set aside. But I promised my self that when we finished paying for our home’s equity will pursue getting pension plans. My husband and I believe it’s a good investment as well for the future of our daughter.

Living on cabins

I have experienced staying in a cabin when I had the chance to go to Tagaytay. And it was an awesome experience. As far as I know, cabins are usually set up on mountains and rural areas and are usually made up of wood or log I am not sure why but maybe it helps to control the cool weather. It’s cold up on mountains right? Below is one of Pigeon Forge cabins in Tennessee. Imagine you’re staying here...don’t you think its a great mountain getaway?

My Jaden and her errupting teeth (again)

Since Sunday night until yesterday morning Jaden has fever. Sinat lang naman because of her errupting teeth (yes, again) pero just the same, she's having a hard time on it and hindi siya comfortable. Hindi pa kasi lahat lumabas and sabi nila since her gums are not that soft na kaya iniinda talaga niya pag may mag e-erupt na teeth. This time its her upper maxillary canine that are about to erupt. She does not eat that much. Ang worry ko because she's not eating (as in anything...tikim lang siya) and its only her milk that supplements her nutrition, baka sobrang mangayayat at mawala ang chubilicious at pinaggigilan kong braso at hita...haaaay. Buti na lang wala ng sinat yesterday afternoon kaya pwede na ulit maligo...hehehe. Three days din kasing banned from taking her bath.. Buti na lang kahit di naliligo amoy baby pa rin! :)

Yesterday..

I asked my colleague to come with me to the mall as I was asked to look for a gift to one of our Board member. I find it hard to look for something by myself. It’s hard to think of something for a person holding a significant corporate position. Good thing, his assistant gave me some suggestions. We went to some sports house and boutiques since she suggested something that can be use when he goes to the gym or working out. We saw a number of strength equipment and sports gear but we opted to buy a gym shirt. Whew..one task accomplished! :D

The internet for Christians

The internet is such a great source of information and an easy way to search for particular things. For example if you’re looking for properties to buy in North Carolina, you’ll type North Carolina land for sale in a search engine (like Google) and voila…in a few seconds, you’ll be amazed of the result the internet will show you. Some Christians before looked at the internet on a negative way (I mean about spiritual matters here) but then the internet now has been very useful for Christian groups and people all around the world. God has enabled man to create the internet to spread His word all around the world, don't you think? On my daily life, the internet has been my tool if I want to look for a verse in the bible because there are a lot of online bibles out there. So the internet is not that bad after all?

An ideal place to stay

I’m not familiar with Hilton Head Islands but they say that it’s a great vacation getaway. Great for family summer vacation. I chanced upon a site that narrates everything about the island and from that you can be assure that it’s really an ideal place of togetherness. There are a lot to see plus idyllic places to stay. There's a lot Hilton Head rentals which you can choose from either homes or villas. I wish I could visit the place and see it my self.

In "Others" Words: The Powerful Prayer of Mothers

"Momma prayed, momma cried, momma laid awake at night.
She would fight my battles while I slept away cause momma knew life is hard without somebody on your side.
I don't know how, but there is power in the way,
The way my momma prayed."

~words and music by Jeremiah Olson of 40milesNorth ~

Last week I bought a book entitled: Psalms for Mothers..I forgot the name of the author but I love how she collected the verses and the points she shared for mothers to ponder. It was not brand new but there's one point which struck me and made me continue reading on.

The author was right when she said that none can compare to a mother's prayer. And when I read the quote above, indeed it is true that mothers are great prayer-makers. One look on our child as they leave for school, play with their friends, even while sleeping can bring a prayer to our lips. The mother prays constantly for her child to be protected from any harm, for God's guidance whenever she can't be there physically for her children, to bless their lives that they may be able to provide for their needs, to give them good health. A mother prays that her children will grow in the way God would want them to be. She prays that God will give her wisdom and knowledge that she will be able to raise her children in God's direction. These are indeed the same things I'm praying for my daughter...everyday.

Morning and night, I pray for my daughter because I believe that it's the only thing I can do for her. I know that her life is not ours to control or to hold in our hands. Our children belongs to God's, and they are just loans of love to us parents. And how we raised them is what God wants to see when they grow up...it's also the measure of our being good stewards. Our pastor once said that a child is blessed if she has a mother who knows how to kneel and cry before God for their children...God hears a mother's prayer. God hears the cries of a mother's heart.

I have heard a lot of stories of successful persons just because they have their mothers praying behind them, and one of them is Lance Armstrong. A lot of winning stories of people...and the secret, prayerful mothers.

I know my daughter does not understand why, when sometimes she sees me kneeling or just eyes-closed and muttering words she cannot hear. She doesn't know that her mother is earnestly praying for her. When she sleeps, I pronounce blessing as I pray and lay my hands on her. I pray that someday, when she grow, she would also realize the power of prayer. And that she will also have a heart after God, a prayerful heart that she can also pass on to her children.

This week's IOW is hosted by Heather at her site, Titus 2 Woman. She has chosen the quote above which was from Jeremiah Olson of 40miles North.

Miss chicshopaholic gave me this award:

Thank you so m uch for this Gracie!

Passing this to: Nice, Jane, Kitts and Bang
Got this tag f rom Norm...

Anger is only one letter short of danger. If someone betrays you once, it is his fault; If he betrays you twice, it is your fault. Great minds discuss ideas; Average minds discuss events; Small minds discuss people. He, who loses money, loses much; He, who loses a friend, loses much more; He, who loses faith, loses all. Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art. Learn from the mistakes of others. You can’t live long enough to make them all yourself. Friends, you and me…You brought another friend…And then there were 3…We started our group…Our circle of friends…And like that circle…There is no beginning or end…Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is mystery. Today is a gift.

So now, let’s see how many circles of friends we can make by simply adding your link on this Friendship Meme!

OFFICE MAKE-OVER

Our office will be renovated this coming week end. Finally, we’ll have new cubicles and tables. My boss has been very eager for this since he wanted to get rid of our old and worn out cubicles. I think the only difficult part is the re-wiring of the PABX system and the cabling of our LAN. They will need new cables for that. I just don’t know if they’ll be using an HDMI cable but for sure it will be a lot of work. What's exciting is that, we'll have a total make over. I can work well in a comfy and nice environment so this will be good for me :D.

Love...

"What the world needs now is love, sweet love
it's the only thing that there's just too little of
What the world needs now is love, sweet love,
no not just for somebut for everyone..."

Happy Valentine's day everyone!! I guess most of you now are getting ready for your dinner dates, and roses and chocolates are overflowing..in fact, this morning, upon heading for work, I saw vendors around the street selling roses. Hmm...today, I received chocolates, but from my boses...:D

As expected, hubby greeted me the sweetest greeting this morning. I know I won't received any kind of roses from him, puro cactus lang daw kasi ang meron dun, hahaha! :D But I thank God for his love that continually binds us together. It doesn't matter if there's no roses, as long as we both know that we love each other enough for us to be happy although we're far apart.

Traveling

Are you a well-traveled person? I’m not but I want to. I'll let you in a secret…I haven’t even traveled around my own country. I have been to some places like, Cebu, Zamboanga, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija and Vizcaya, Pampanga, Cavite, Tagaytay, Batangas, Mindoro, Baguio, Ilo-ilo to name a few. But I have never been outside the country. Sad right? But next year, if God wills…we’re planning to visit Hong Kong or Singapore. Depends on hubby’s plan, if the plan pushes through it will be my first time to fly outside the Philippines :D. For sure, I’ll enjoy it. And then it will be the start…so from here, I think it would be best to consider getting a travel health insurance...isn't it?

The past three days...

..I wasn't able to post for my weekly memes. Been busy from the very first day of the week. Monday and Tuesday was spent in doing presentations for two important meetings. And yesterday, I went to cavite with two of my officemates to do an occular visit for possible summer outing venues for our company. We we're able to visit 7 places. Out of the seven I can only recommend Mount Sea Grand Resort in Tanza, Cavite. You can click the link to see what they are offering. We also visited Caylabne Bay, but the travel can be tiring specially if some of the employees will bring their kids.

It was quite a tiring day. Went home late since our driver dropped me off at Taft Ave. from Coastal Road. Buti na lang my daughter was still up when I arrived home. I gave her my pasalubong (buko crumble pie) which she immediately get from me and enjoyed eating. I guess she was really excited to wait for me kasi she wasn't able to see me when she woke up that morning, maaga kasi ako umalis ng bahay.

Speaking of my daughter, she already knows how to answer simple questions that I ask her and she makes me laugh with her words and gestures. Ang nakakatuwa ngayon, she loves the show Kung Fu Kids and whenever she watches the show or it's trailer, even when she see just the logo of the program, she'll shout "Yaah!" with matching actions ha.

She was really giving me joy everyday, she never fails to do that. And guess what, since hubby's not here, this cute little lady will be my date tonight :D.

Luxury watches

Movado, Gucci, Baume Mercier, Omega, Breguet, Breitling, Bvlgari, Cartier, Concord, Chopard, Ebel, TAG Heuer & Zenith, raymond weil watches ….these are just some of the worlds’ most luxurious watches. I don’t know why some people spend a fortune just to own one of these. As for me, I don’t need expensive ones. I don’t even wear one sometimes since I can check the time on my phone or even on the clocks available around me…I just can’t believe that a watch alone can cost hundreds or millions dollars! Whew…that’s a lot!

My funny shirt

I saw these funny t-shirts in a store when I was strolling in a mall with my daughter this afternoon. A flashback of my college days crossed my mind…when I was in college we we’re asked to do a project. It’s to create a t-shirt designed through silk screen printing. We actually didn’t know how to do it so I thought that time that we’re really like experimenting. We're amatuers but we we're able to create a masterpiece! It was the first t-shirt I wore which I was very proud to say that I was the one who made it. You know what's the design?

A big Smiley! hahaha!!:)

An expensive hobby

Are you a collector? I remember one time, I was able to watched a TV show which aired an episode about people who collects unusual kinds of things. From angel figurines to original movie posters of their favorite actors. Collecting can be fun but expensive. Imagine, some people even got their items from other countries. They travel just to get those things and will never stop until they got them. I used to collect bags but I stopped when I get married. I think collecting bags, cheap or expensive ones is not for me anymore since I now have my priorities as a married woman.

Summer is coming..am I excited?

Summer is just few weeks away. And speaking of summer, it won’t be complete without going to resort or beaches. Every year, our family is having our own family outing. Hubby won’t be with us this time but I’m excited because our daughter is now ready for her real summer fun! I’m now into planning when and where it would be. Also, I already asked my brother in law to check for a van that we can hire since we need a huge car. Of course it needs to have a van rack for our bags and other stuff…Oh! I’m really excited...can’t wait for summer!

Thanks to Eds for this cutie...you're such a generous friend :)

I would like to share this to all of my blog friends listed on my blog roll. Grab this now gals and guys! :)

They want to lose..I want to GAIN!

When almost everyone is raring to go to the gym and run on treadmills to get rid of those excess fats…I on the other hand is getting really upset that I am losing weight. I lost 2 kilos in just two months! I don’t know why but I am getting really bothered about it. Made me realized to look and monitor closely my diet. I also bought milk which they claim is effective in gaining weight. It’s kinda pricey so I hope it works on me.

On pop-ups

Arrgghh!!! I am really getting super annoyed with these pop-ups! Do you also get irritated when you surf the net and there are lots of advertisements that pops up when you open a certain window? I do…especially at home since I’m on a dial up. I think it is definitely a must to install a popup blocker on our PCs. With that installed, it will be much easier to manage those irritating popups. I think any internet buff would agree with me on this…right?

When it pours, it rains!

The past week was not so good I only received two tasks. I thought I won’t receive any tasks this week but I was blessed! And hoodia think is the generous one? Of course, the sheriff! I am feeling so lucky…the tasks he gave me are enough to make me busy blogging for the next two days…It’s really a blessing indeed!

No roses this year

I went to the mall yesterday to buy something. I noticed that there are already lots of ideas for valentines day giftsat almost all the stores around the corner. We don’t usually celebrate Valentines Day but at least every year hubby gives me roses every Feb 14th. This year, I don’t think I’ll receive a bunch…*sigh*…I really miss my husband.

Wordless Wednesday #4

A day at Fun Ranch

Our Fun Ranch day was indeed fun and enjoying. It was last Saturday when we took the kids out. Since I don't want a mall this time, we decided to visit Fun Ranch. Hubby told me in his email to take our daughter out so this trip was with his consent :D.

We left the house at 4:30. We arrived at 5:00. The kids (Jaden and my niece) were really ecstatic when they saw the Big Red Barn. Sa sobrang excitement ng anak ko, she attempted to run kaya ayun, nadapa. May konting galos but because of the rides, nawala ang simangot sa mukha. Lalo na when they walk through the hanging bridge.

When they had their fill, we decided to eat muna. We went to SM Hypermarket to buy some groceries and had our dinner. After dinner, we went to Tiendesitas. Nakakatuwa kasi when we passed by the village na may tindang dogs, tuwang-tuwa ang anak ko. First time nya kasi makaharap sa dog ng sobrang lapit. Although behind glass walls nga lang. She tapped a wall with a really big dog behind it, when the animal faced her, natakot, biglang umatras, hehehe :D

I was able to buy her also an inflatable chair, a disney princess throne, which she love so much to sit on when we went home.

It was indeed a great day for all of us.

Friendship Day

"Friendship Day is a special day... It is a special time when you can tell your friends how much you appreciate them and show them how happy and thankful you are to have them... and well, it is the best to let them know how you feel everyday... A Friend is someone who knows all about you and loves you anyway!!!"

Got this touching award from Kitts....thanks sis! Aside from being such a good friend, you are really super generous ...:D

Heidi, (for always being so sweet a friend)...
Nette, (for the gift of friendship)
Melisse and

5 Star Award

Got another award and it's from Milet....

I really really apprecite this award sis...

I'm sharing it to Toni, Kitts, Nice, Jhona, Pam and Gracie.

5 Things I want my kids to know...

"...before going out in this world"...

this is such a nice tag I got from Milet and Toni.

Here are my answers:
  1. First, I want them to know everything about God. About our faith. I believe that the biblical foundation that we can share to our children will be their guide through their journey to life.
  2. I want them to learn how to be a winner and a fighter in life but guided with righteousness. To know what’s just and fair. To know what's right from wrong.
  3. I want them to know that they are loved for who they are and not for what they’ve done or accomplished.
  4. I want them to know the value of education. To strive to learn and keep on learning. To strive to achieve good education.
  5. And of course like Milet, I want them to know that everything in this world is not serve on a silver platter. To learn to get what they want the hard way. To invest on things that are valuable. To treasure and be content with what they have.
Thanks for this tag. Now I'm tagging, Lilet, Yette and Lutchi.

In "Other" Words: Be patient

This week's "In 'Other' Words" is hosted by Bonnie at her site, Ink It Blog. She has chosen a quote by Elisabeth Elliot. This week's quote is:
"He [God] is very patient with us when we are trying to be patient with Him."
~Elisabeth Elliott ~

An adage goes—“Patience is a virtue”. But it’s amazing how easy it is for us to be impatient. It easily shows in simple situations like falling in long lines, traffic jams, or just merely waiting for someone.

I’m guilty of being impatient. It was when our daughter was diagnosed of neonatal seizure when she was 3 weeks old. The procedure she has gone through to detect the cause was really strenuous for a baby of that age. She went in and out of the lab for couple of times, in and out of the ER for several unsuccessful lumbar tap. Whenever the unsuccessful session is done and we went back to the room, I feel deeply sad. I was already asking God why. Why it had to be our baby? How long will she had to go through this? But then I get immediately convicted by God to be patient for His answer, and be still and know that he is God. He knows everything.

It was after a couple of weeks, with our pervent prayers, when the doctor told us that its not something that we should worry about. The seizure is not because of any infection. The doctor said she'll be okay and will just outgrow it, but then she still had to take some medication for maintenance until she's two years old.... Praise God!

We tend to lose patience abruptly in situations that we want to get immediate answer. Sometimes we tend to do things our way… which in the end would not only hurt ourselves but God’s heart the most. But amidst our impatient attitude toward God, He is patient with us. Like a real father. He waits until we ask him to take the wheel from our hands and let Him drive for us.

As for me, when I’m tempted to be impatient, I utter this verse over and over...

“Be still and know that I am God” Psalm 46:10

…and then I’ll be assured of one thing. God is patient with me, so I must be patient with His answers.

Migration

An old friend told me that he’s family is migrating to the US. His aunt helped them with the processing of their papers. They were able to get him a job and a good house at Branson property. I just thought…well, good for them. As for me, I don’t intend to migrate anywhere. I am blessed to live in this country. Though maybe most of the Filipinos desire to leave, I’m the opposite. I know our country’s future looks hopeless to many but for me, I look at it the other way.

M-I-A???

No I'm not...:D just a little busy...

I spent the whole Saturday with my daughter at Fun Ranch near Tiendesitas. Went home tired so no time to blog. (I was also assigned to lead our worship service the next morning so I need to "really" prepare my self)

Sunday was spent taking care of my poor sick baby. I didn't know why she got fever again. Nadapa kasi siya when she attempted to run pagka kita sa fun ranch, sobrang excited...she got bruises ininda siguro kaya ayun...but anyway, she's better now. Will post the story soon and also some pics..

please bear with me if I'm kinda MIA for now...

Oh, btw, thanks for the tag Toni and Milet, will post it soon :)

thanks thanks thanks to all those who visited. :)

Manic Monday #4

Is there anything to serious to joke about? If so, what falls into that category for you?
- I think when it's about the Philippines' economic condition. Its a fact that Fililipos are one of the happiest person in the world but our economic situation should not be taken lightly. We should be serious in dealing with our economic problems.

Would you rather be a tortured genius or a happy simple-minded person? Why?
- I know from the start that I'm a happy simple-minded person and I like it that way. I don't want to act like genius, I'm content that I know some stuffs others do not (which I willingly wanted to share) and I'm happy to get knowledge from others to stuffs which I do not know.

A dear friend or family member has a terminal illness and is in agony. He/she wants you to help him/her die. What would you do?
-Honestly this is really a hard question. But as a Christian I would rather not interfere on God's leading. What I would do is lead him/her to the way to salvation instead. To make sure that his/her soul will not experience eternal agony. Coz the pain we suffer here is but temporary, the most important is the life after death.

It's FEBRUARY

Bye-bye January...hello, February! one month has passed already..Ang bilis talaga ng panahon :)

But honestly, I was glad for the passing of time. I am getting more and more excited for hubby's coming home.

Well, anyway, I want to list down the things I've accomplished last month:
1. Got my Passport already. Got it when DFA held a mobile passport system in San Juan.
2. Finalized our office uniforms. It was hard to contest with the president but thank God we're able to get his approval
3. Passed the Civil Service Exam! Hoorey!!
4. Got my daughter's birth certificate from NSO. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get her passport the same day I secured mine. I hope there will be another mobile passport system somewhere in the metro :)
5. Updated our savings account. Mine and Jaden's
6. Updated SSS contribution of my helper
7. Finished reading Steve Pruitt's "The Making of a Worship Leader". will start another book this month. :D

It really was a great start...Im hoping for more accomplishments this February.
