A Healthy New Me

Since I’m now staying at home, I feel less pressured and less stress. I don’t have to force myself to wake up early, take a bath so early, and skip breakfast just to get my ride to work. I don’t have to fall in line to the shuttle station and while away everyday’s traffic jams. So now I feel more relaxed. I hope I can take care of my skin and my health with my new routines now. As a matter of fact, I’m taking vitamin E supplement and vitamin c serum for face so stay young, beautiful and glowing even if I’m a SAHM. The good thing also about being a SAHM, I don’t have to wear makeup everyday which is really good for my skin.

Buy Gold Now

If you want get your wealth secured for you and your children’s future, you should try investing in gold. Financial analysts advised investors to buy gold now since gold continues to rise and many investors anticipate that gold prices are unlikely to decline in the coming months. Gold is faring better than the US dollar amidst economic decline. So if you would ask if I will pursue investing in the gold market, I will. Given the money for the investment, I would definitely a lot a portion in the gold stock market. Gold is has proven its worth since the early times and is still proving to be one of the most valuable and usable precious metal.

Add Something Practical to Your Christmas List

When making a Christmas list, most people don't like to add practical things like underwear or shoes. In fact, these are extremely rarely put on Christmas lists. When you think about it, though, they definitely should have a place. Of course no one wants to only get practical things for the holidays, but getting a few things that will be used on a regular basis is always nice.

When you are making your shopping and wish lists, think about things that you need rather than just what you want. For example, if you only have sandals, you may want to consider asking Santa for some boots or close-toed shoes. If you have lost weight recently, some new clothes that fit could be just what you want and need! Or maybe your microwave is on the fritz. Getting a new one rather than having to go out and get one after it has completely died is extremely helpful in the long run.

On the other hand, you don't have to only ask for responsible things. We all have things that we want that are not necessities, or anything close. Video games, gaming systems, ebook readers, and new cell phones are frequently on the top of many people's lists. These are all great. Entertainment and fun are huge parts of the holidays. So, even if you do make the switch to putting practical, responsible items on your wish list this year, don't forget to put on some things that are fun as well. Even something like a gift card to a spa or massage parlor could be a great fun gift. Being able to relax and enjoy yourself is a great way to spend this year's holidays.

Loans for Life: Payday One

It’s a truth as inescapable as it is adored - motherhood is without pause. Life becomes a dedication to all things frantic, the happy obligations. You spend your hours as friend and confidant, secret-keeper and healer of imaginary hurts. Every morning is a rush, every evening is a relief, and the time between is filled to adventures both great and small.

There are times, however, when those adventures will lead to sudden complications - and you won’t be ready for them. Accidents, unfortunately, are as common as smiles. Children forget their own limitations, that cursed gravity. They stumble, they fall, they collide with the most painful object around them (even as such a trajectory should be impossible, should be ignored for the softer earth beyond). And you must then rush to the hospital, aware that you can’t avoid it and even more aware that you can’t afford it.

You need assistance. You need Payday One.

Fate doesn’t wait for wages to be cashed and debts to be erased. It’s never that kind. Instead it demands your patience and your dollars when you aren’t able to give either. Should an emergency arise, you will have to find a way to counter it - and receiving a loan becomes the only viable alternative.

These loans are able to be achieved within 24 hours (they may even require far less time). They are without the usual stacks of paperwork, the conditional reliefs. Instead they provide the money you need and the help you deserve. And, due to the flexible nature of their payment plans, you will not find yourself later burdened to high interests and impossible costs. The rates instead will be reasonable - a necessity for the modern family.

Accidents are certainties. Chaos is a promise. And you cannot prepare yourself for it. You must instead therefore rely on those who can: Payday One and valuable lenders.

The Scheduled Argument: An Oddly Useful Communication Technique

When I was in college, I had a class that basically centered on relationship advice. The book had some interesting advice, but the teacher, a marriage counselor by trade, had even more. One of the things that she mentioned was having a "scheduled argument."

The idea was fairly simple. We don't have time to argue about everything that comes up, and conflict can cause both an emotional rift and stressful tension. As a suggested solution, the teacher proposed that each partner in the marriage kept a list of items that they wanted to discuss — items which they knew would probably cause conflict.

Whether it was "I don't like how much time you spend on that online casino," or "I wish I could have more personal space," or "I want to spend more money on vacations" didn't matter. The list was kept private, with both partners committing to avoiding the conflict until the "appropriately scheduled time." The couple would then schedule a time to go through both of the lists thoroughly. Depending on how many items seemed to build up, this could be a daily, weekly, monthly, or even quarterly discussion.

"Denny's," the teacher said. "Don't do this at home. Don't do this in the place you're used to having conflict. Don't do it in a place you can yell. Do it at Denny's." The idea was that, being surrounded by lots of other people, you're more likely to speak reasonably and keep your emotions in check. Plus, Denny's stays open all night — giving you plenty of time to get things resolved.

The idea definitely doesn't work for everyone, and some people prefer more frequent communication, however, for couples who recognize that conflict is interfering with their other priorities, scheduling an argument can be a good way to make sure issues get resolved — without putting the rest of your life on a back burner.

Should we buy a Bike?

My husband and I have been thinking about buying a motorcycle. It looks like fun, and it would give us something to do together when the grandparents take the kids for the weekend. I can just see it now! We'll put on our helmets, and take off for the day. It won't take hardly any gas as we travel around the countryside and see it all. I can already feel the wind in my face, and the feel of the bike as I hold on while we take the curves.

We just have to figure out which one we can afford. I was looking at the motorcycle insurance policies, and I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable they were. Because the motorcycle isn't very likely to cause much damage to another vehicle, the liability part was really cheap. I'm not sure why the comprehensive part was cheap, too. Of course, a new bike is pretty expensive. Maybe we'll look at the used ones instead.

It's also a great excuse to go shopping. In addition to helmets, we'll need jackets and other protective clothing. I'll even get to go shoe shopping for new motorcycle boots. Just picture it! We'll be all decked out in black leather on the back of that bike. There's no way I want to end up with road rash if we drop the bike. You know what they say about new riders; it's not a matter of if you drop the bike, but when. I'm not looking forward to it, but they say it is bound to happen.

Next time you see us, we might just be on the back of our new bike. There won't be any need to be jealous. If it looks like fun, you can always go out and get your own bike. We'd love to have someone else to ride with!

How to Plan a Wedding

If you just got engaged, congratulations! After the celebrations have died down, you now need to start planning your wedding. There are many things to think about and the sooner you get started planning your special day the better.

Probably the first step is to pick a date. You should think about whether you want a summer or winter wedding and what time of the year would be the most convenient for your guests. If you are thinking of having your wedding in an exotic foreign location you should also research local weather in the area and find out when the best time of year to get married is. Lastly, make sure that your wedding does not clash with anyone elses that you know of!

You also need to think about the type of budget you will need to carry out your wedding. Weddings can be expensive and you may decide that you would be happier spending some of that money on the honeymoon of a lifetime rather than a big wedding. This is something that needs to be decided as a couple.

You should also think about the type of location that you want to get married in. Many people choose a church as it is traditional, but similarly you might also want to get married at a garden party, or even at Las Vegas (there are many Las Vegas property management companies that can help you find the perfect location for you)!

Once you have selected where and when you want to get married, book everything up to ensure that nobody takes your slot at the last minute. You will need to create a list of guests that you want to invite and the bride will have to buy her wedding dress, as well as the dresses of her bridesmaids and maid of honor.

Fun Family Costumes

Halloween is a time of year when both kids and adults get to dress up as their alter egos. This is a fine time of the year to look forward to, especially with the family. The time leading up to Halloween is filled with excitement since everyone is looking forward to the costumes they will wear. Kids look forward to trick or treating and getting as much candy as possible. So why not make this another event you can take part in with your kids and have a great time?

The first thing that comes to mind is getting the proper costumes. Often families dress up in a theme but adults may want to wear what they feel comfortable in. Either way, getting all the Halloween costumes ready can be an exhausting process, but if you set a theme for the night, it makes it that much easier to get the right costume. If your kids see that the whole family will dress alike, then they seem to be more excited about it. The best way to start planning is to see what your child wants to wear so that you can get them what they want and plan your adult costumes around them.

Costumes are just as important as the fun spirit this time of the year brings around. Ultimately, try to make the best out of the evening and keep things as stress free as possible. With a little planning ahead of time, you can easily have everything ready before the day, which cuts down on last minute running around. If you make this a family experience, both you and your kids will enjoy the day and you will eagerly look forward to the year ahead. Make the evening as easy and fun as possible and everyone will be happy with the outcome. That is the best way to spend your Halloween time.

How to Keep Your Kitchen Clean and Organized

You spend a lot of your time in your kitchen, and it is hard to keep it clean if you do not have an organizational plan in place, especially if you have a large family. Every member of your family should know the rules and be held accountable for them. You don’t have to run your kitchen like a restaurant, with commercial refrigeration and all, but there should be straightforward rules to ensure everyone does their part to keep it clean and even the younger kids should participate.

Suggested Kitchen Rules:

• Don’t leave dishes in the sink. It is easy for dishes to get stacked high if everyone just puts them in the sink. You should have a "no dishes in the sink" rule. This means that everything should go straight into the dishwasher and if the dishwasher contents are clean, the person has to unload it so their dirty dish can go inside.

• Clean up after yourself. This one is just common sense. There should be a rule that if a person makes a sandwich, or anything else, they have to clean off the counter when they are done and leave the place as clean as it was before they started.

• Close all bags and containers tightly. Food can easily go bad if it is not stored properly. Stale bread can be a problem as well as dried-out cookies. Make it a rule that everything has to be closed tightly after something is removed.

• Use only one cup or glass per day. Cups can be a pet peeve of many moms because they can be left everywhere around the house. If this still continues to be a problem in your home, even after the rules are set in place, color code cups so kids know which one is theirs.

Little Ways to Save Money

The big step my husband and I have taken lately (me becoming a stay at home mom, or SAHM), I have become more aware of ways to save money now that we will be living on just one income. A few of my favorite ways to cut back on spending include:

1) Make a budget. It's hard to stick to a budget, but it's well worth it and even necessary if you don't have a lot of leftover money each month. One of the easiest ways to stick with a budget is to set up utility and bill payments online, then use a cash system for groceries, gas, and entertainment spending. Keep that week's allotted amount in cash and resolve not to turn to the debit or credit cards if it runs out.

2) Cut back on eating out. Stopping for coffee on the way to work, grabbing a sandwich at the deli, or ordering pizza when you don't feel like cooking really adds up and eats at your budget. Just think: if you spend $4 on coffee every day on the way to work, you're spending at least $80 a month just on coffee!

3) Teach the kids about saving too. You can make saving fun and teach your kids the value of money by encouraging them to save. For example, get each of your kids a piggy bank for spare change and allowance. If they want something, like a new Apple Bottoms pair of jeans or a video game, they will appreciate it more if they had to earn the money for it.

4) Eliminate your debt. Debt eats away at your hard-earned money in the form of interest. Pay more than the minimum amount each month wherever possible and don't charge anything unless it's an emergency.

These are my favorite tips for saving money.

Imortal

I'm currently enjoying the latest teleserye of Angel Locsin and JL Cruz. But I don't want the little girl to watch it since I don't want her to be exposed with violence and things like vampires and wolves :D. SO I'm thankful that there's a blog that I can go to whenever I want to watch past episodes. Super thanks to Twilight Angels Tube for uploading. With this I won;t miss any episodes.

Just The Way You Are

I heard this song first on an avp that my college classmate made for a couple. I love the song and I'm so proud of my classmate, he was able to pursue photography and he's making a name in the industry :)

Just The Way You Are lyrics

Not Again

My friend who already underwent ten operations since she was 10 years old underwent a colonoscopy last month. It started because during her monthly physical examination, the test result showed blood on her stool. She was so worried and she really cried to me because she was scared for a possible serious problem. But after her colonoscopy, the doctor only told her that she had ulcer and she also need to take care of her colon to avoid future problems. She’s now taking some colon cleanser. I really feel for her because she went through a lot already and she’s really praying hard that she won’t underwent another operation, not again.

What's Best for Some Might Not Be Best for You

Finding the best way to lose weight can be tricky at times. There are a lot of products claiming they are the best. As a matter of fact, it seems that everyone is claiming that they are the best. So consumers have to be wise in choosing the right product for them. Effects of this kinds of products varies from one person to another so what may have been effective to some, may not be as effective to you, so the best thing to do is to consult your physician first before taking anything concerning your health.

I Miss Them

I just got back from visiting my former office mates. I miss them, and I know they miss me too because they want me to join them for lunch. But I was notable to join since I already promised my friend that I will treat her to lunch. Hay, I really miss our happy and funny conversation during lunch, although most of them, especially the guys, would throw green jokes and would even make the best male enhancement topic sound funny. Sometimes these topics make me feel uncomfortable but what I really miss is the fun we had. Anyway, I’ll just keep in touch and hopefully, they won’t really forget me.

My Goal to Get an Organized and Improved House

I’ve been meaning to either buy some furniture in the house but I’m thinking if I’ll just have someone customized them for me. Honestly, I’m already irritated at how unorganized our things are. We really need to install a lot of cabinets to organized our things especially the kids’ toys and my book collection. The house also needs some improvements since it doesn’t have any built-in cabinets. Hopefully before the year ends, I can get all our things organized.

Well, I’ve already talked to the owner of the house for some home improvements that we badly need. He agreed that they will shoulder the cost of fixing the railings, improving the gate, fixing the ceilings and maybe installing some skylights and improving the flooring. My friend who just came from Riyadh gave me fireplace mantels that will really good on our floor if only we can get everything organized.

How I wish they will just sell this house to us so we can really do the things that we want. I want to have some additional rooms and maybe build a second floor so the ground floor will have room enough for the kitchen and the living room. Hay, it’s really one of my dream to have our own house someday.

More Time.

I'm now into my second week of being a SAHM, I never thought I'm going to be busier than when I was working. But I'm happy. Now I only have to manage my time wisely. There are a lot of things that can distract me when I'm not focused. I have so much to do on my list and when I face my computer and start clicking my mouse opening tabs from tabs...I usually get lost, LOL!

Now I need to really list all my To do for the day so I will be more focused and accomplished a lot.

Human ♥ Nature

I've got a new diversion. I finally signed up for human heart nature dealership so I can get discounts even for my personal use. I love their organic products the reason why I decided to join.

I'm not good at selling lalo na if it's like dealership so I'm not sure if can earn a lot with this but still I'm happy I signed up.

This Is Home

Big Step

My husband and I have been discussing lately about our future. Since we’ve agreed that I should leave my job and be a SAHM (stay at home mom), we knew that it would definitely affect our financial fort polio. This was really a big decision that we made and we know that this is going to be very challenging. W e also knew that we cannot just rely fully on his income so we have to really plan our future. He’s suggesting that we should put up a small business to start with. We are also looking into a good investment to secure the future of the kids. So now, we are on the search of an investment that we can afford. I’ve actually read some articles about those who buy gold bullion and invested it. I’m also looking into the possibility that we can also enter the gold market. After all, gold is said to be the wisest and safest investment now.

How To Get Peace of Mind?

Peace of mind is the best sleep aid, did you know that? Even if you have the best job, the most luxurious life, but you don’t have peace of mind, you can never get good sleep. That’s why some people need sleeping pills just to get them to sleep. And how do we get peace of mind, live a good and healthy life and give everything that burdens you the One who knows it all, Our God.

Challenge

My high school classmate posted old pictures on facebook and wow, we we’re all surprised. It’s so nice to reminisce the good old days. We were all laughing at how we look then and now. One of our classmates was even laughing so much to see his narrow waist on his CAT uniform and comparing his bulging tummy now, LOL! Everyone’s boils down to one suggestion, he should get rid of stomach fat before our reunion comes, hehe. It’s going to be a big challenge for him.

One of the things I must start doing.

Now that I’m going to be self-employed, I’ll be processing documents pertaining to changing my status on various government agencies, like the Social Security System, Philhealth and HDMF. I know that processing of these change will take time and is going to be tedious but I have to do it and I won’t complain since it’s necessary. I have been a believer on various benefits that the SSS can give and I have enjoyed these benefits so I have to comply to still avail of these in the future even though I’m working home based. I remember a story of someone who got into an accident and was paralyzed but because the person was a member of the SSS he was able to get his social security disability insurance claims. That’s one of the good things about being a committed member, you get to enjoy the benefits and it comes when you least expect it.

Home Improvement Basics

Home improvement projects do not only improve our living space, it also adds value to our homes. But fact is home improvement projects entails money. And if we don’t have sky-high budget, sometimes, we tend to just ignore about improvements in our homes even though it’s quite necessary. But did you know that even if you only have a little budget you can actually make home improvements? You just have to prioritize the basics and do first things first like minor replacements. This is what we did when we decided to renovate our house. Although we really need replacements of windows va, we went into repainting the house first. It did wonders because with just a little budget the house looked nicer and the changed of paint made a big impact on the look and feel of the house. Then when we already had the budget we started investing on doors, windows and door screens and installing new tiles. The trick is do first what can be done with a small budget then splurge with the money is there for more improvements.

I've Learned

I'VE LEARNED...that when you're in love it shows.
I've learned...that just one person saying to me, "You've made my day!" makes my day.
I've learned...that having a child fall asleep in your arms is one of the most peaceful
feelings in the world.
I've learned...that being kind is more important than being right.
I've learned...that you should never say no to a gift from a child.
I've learned...that I can always pray for someone when I don't have the strength to help
him in some other way.
I've learned...that no matter how serious your life requires you to be, everyone needs a
friend to act goofy with.
I've learned...that sometimes all a person needs is a hand to hold and a heart to
understand.
I've learned...that simple walks with my father around the block on summer nights
when I a child did wonders for me as an adult.
I've learned...that life is like a roll of toilet paper. the closer it gets to the end, the faster
it goes.
I've learned...that we should be glad God doesn't give us everything we ask for.
I've learned...that money doesn't buy class.
I've learned...that it's those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.
I've learned...that under everyone's hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated
and loved.
I've learned...that the Lord didn't do it all in one day. What makes me think I can?
I've learned...that to ignore the facts does not change the facts.
I've learned...that when you plan to get even with someone, you are only letting that
person continue to hurt you.
I've learned...that love, not time, heals all wounds.
I've learned...that the easiest way for me to grow as a person is to surround myself with
people smarter than I am.
I've learned...that everyone you meet deserves to be greeted with a smile.
I've learned...that there's nothing sweeter than sleeping with your babies and feeling
their breath on your cheeks.
I've learned...that no one is perfect until you fall in love with him.
I've learned...that life is tough, but I am tougher.
I've learned...that opportunities are never lost; someone will take the ones you miss.
I've learned...that when you harbor bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere.
I've learned...that I wish I could have told my Mom that I love her one more time before she passed
away.
I've learned...that one should keep his words both soft and tender, because tomorrow he
may have to eat them.
I've learned...that a smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.
I've learned...that I can't choose how I feel, but I can choose what I do about it.
I've learned...that when your newly born grandchild holds your little finger in his little
fist, that you're hooked for life.
I've learned...that everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness
and growth occurs while you're climbing it.
I've learned...that it is best to give advice in only two circumstances: when it is
requested and when it is a life-threatening situation.
I've learned...that the less time I have to work with, the more things I get done.

Renovation

Home improvements are always exciting especially for me. I get to be excited because that means renovations, new furniture, and replacements of old, boring things inside the house. When we transferred to a new house last year, it was my first time to renovate a house. I was totally hands on since the owner of the house gave us all the rights to alter everything we want and since it’s refundable we did what needs to be done without worrying about budget. Good thing that we were able to get quality home construction supplies at bargain prices. We did alteration from door knobs to installing window screens to constructing a whole kitchen. My cousin said that in her place it’s the same, when they did some minor renovation in their rented place, they got the supplies from replacement window Denver, and just reimbursed the cost. Some people said it’s unfair for us since we are only tenants and will leave the house after a few years but we didn’t mind. What’s important is that we will be living in a house with personal touch.

Protect Your Wealth

One way to protect your wealth is to invest. And what I mean is not the common bank investments but by way of investing in gold bullion. Gold investing is one of the largest and trusted by a lot of investors nowadays. They buy gold, store them in different locations or invest and a number of gold investment firms, and done. Gold is known to be a secured investment unlike cash. That’s why more and more people now are trying their financial fortune on the gold market. Well, the returns will still defend on the values of gold in the market but still you can expect that gold will continue to appreciate over time.
