On Financial Management

Finance management is something that seems to be a complicated topic for some people. Especially those who are financially challenge. Managing our finances can be challenging because this is one of the major problem of people, money. Did you know that among the top new year’s resolution, one is to "Get out of debt"? It only means that a lot of people have been in a difficult financial situation once in their lives. And the reason why a lot of people also wouldn’t try to risk on stock investment or to an online stock trading simply because one, they don’t have the capital and two; they are unaware of the benefits of having such an investment. To tell you honestly, I’m one of those people who are still trying to get out of debt and learning financial management. I have been following a website that teaches about how to get out of debt and reading a lot of helpful articles to help me on this challenge. I have a dream that someday, I can be one of those people who have a stable investment on either stock market or whatever that will be best for me. Hopefully, by next year, I will be successful on my financial management journey.

Managing my Finances

If you’re just an ordinary employee and living from paycheck to paycheck, and spending more than you’re earning (because a lot of people do) tendency is, you’re one of those who are trying to get payday advances when pay day is still weeks ahead and you’re presently broke. It’s really one of the difficult situations an ordinary employee experiences sometimes. Well, I’m glad though that I don’t have to be in that kind of situation. I’ve realized the value of being financially wise and I’m trying to get myself on the right track in terms of my finances. As much as I can, I will turn away from getting broke and having so much debts. :)

Loans for Life: Payday One

It’s a truth as inescapable as it is adored - motherhood is without pause. Life becomes a dedication to all things frantic, the happy obligations. You spend your hours as friend and confidant, secret-keeper and healer of imaginary hurts. Every morning is a rush, every evening is a relief, and the time between is filled to adventures both great and small.

There are times, however, when those adventures will lead to sudden complications - and you won’t be ready for them. Accidents, unfortunately, are as common as smiles. Children forget their own limitations, that cursed gravity. They stumble, they fall, they collide with the most painful object around them (even as such a trajectory should be impossible, should be ignored for the softer earth beyond). And you must then rush to the hospital, aware that you can’t avoid it and even more aware that you can’t afford it.

You need assistance. You need Payday One.

Fate doesn’t wait for wages to be cashed and debts to be erased. It’s never that kind. Instead it demands your patience and your dollars when you aren’t able to give either. Should an emergency arise, you will have to find a way to counter it - and receiving a loan becomes the only viable alternative.

These loans are able to be achieved within 24 hours (they may even require far less time). They are without the usual stacks of paperwork, the conditional reliefs. Instead they provide the money you need and the help you deserve. And, due to the flexible nature of their payment plans, you will not find yourself later burdened to high interests and impossible costs. The rates instead will be reasonable - a necessity for the modern family.

Accidents are certainties. Chaos is a promise. And you cannot prepare yourself for it. You must instead therefore rely on those who can: Payday One and valuable lenders.

Little Ways to Save Money

The big step my husband and I have taken lately (me becoming a stay at home mom, or SAHM), I have become more aware of ways to save money now that we will be living on just one income. A few of my favorite ways to cut back on spending include:

1) Make a budget. It's hard to stick to a budget, but it's well worth it and even necessary if you don't have a lot of leftover money each month. One of the easiest ways to stick with a budget is to set up utility and bill payments online, then use a cash system for groceries, gas, and entertainment spending. Keep that week's allotted amount in cash and resolve not to turn to the debit or credit cards if it runs out.

2) Cut back on eating out. Stopping for coffee on the way to work, grabbing a sandwich at the deli, or ordering pizza when you don't feel like cooking really adds up and eats at your budget. Just think: if you spend $4 on coffee every day on the way to work, you're spending at least $80 a month just on coffee!

3) Teach the kids about saving too. You can make saving fun and teach your kids the value of money by encouraging them to save. For example, get each of your kids a piggy bank for spare change and allowance. If they want something, like a new Apple Bottoms pair of jeans or a video game, they will appreciate it more if they had to earn the money for it.

4) Eliminate your debt. Debt eats away at your hard-earned money in the form of interest. Pay more than the minimum amount each month wherever possible and don't charge anything unless it's an emergency.

These are my favorite tips for saving money.

Piggy Bank

There were times when I’m short of cash, I just get my piggy bank and get some coins. Believe it or not, I still save my lose coins in a coin bank. I find it very helpful. But I only put ten peso and five peso coins inside so I know that I’m saving quite a lot. I’m also teaching my daughter the value of saving so she also owns a piggy bank. I just wish that I can put not only five or ten peso coins but gold coin inside. If I had I bet I’ll be saving even more. Gold has been one of the most trusted precious metal since the ancient time and having rare gold coins equals having treasures on your hand.

Simplifying the Sticky Issues

Having a healthy relationship is important, but no one said that it would be easy. Especially when you're married and trying to establish a household, it seems like a constant state of crisis will be present in your life. This doesn't necessarily mean a problem with the relationship itself. Far more commonly, in fact, it's some sticky issue that is difficult to maneuver as a couple. The trick here is almost always to simplify the issue to reduce conflict.

Debt and finances are not just a major issue in relationships; they are THE major issue. This subject is often cited as the number one reason for relationship arguments. The best solution in the world is just to get out of debt and be financially secure. When this isn't possible, handing the task off to someone else can be a viable solution. Debt consolidation services can help remove the strain of figuring out bill payments, and it can help you get out of debt more quickly.

For financial issues, anything left in your court should be handle by using CCC - or "crystal clear communication." This is the best solution for money issues, but it's also the first important step in almost anything you do. Make sure that both partners in the relationship know which tasks fall to them, and that everyone feels the situation is fair.

Similarly, in like disciplining a child, taking the time to communicate about appropriate consequences, who is to enact them and what to do in exceptional circumstances is important. Then it's simply a matter of applying the rules consistently in order to make life simpler for you and your children. After all, children are in desperate need of stability and clarity. Applying understandable and consistent rules will provide this for them, and make it more likely that they will respect you as an authority figure.

Why Choosing a Payday Loan

Let’s be realistic: everyone faces a financial crisis at some point in their life. Bad financial moments affect everyone: the largest worldwide companies (just take a look at General Motors), your neighbor, family members, and even we. It is something that cannot be avoided. At some point in our life, we all face situations like having an unpaid bill. What can vary from person to person is the way to solve their financial problem. Some prefer to take a credit loan, while others choose to take a payday loan. I believe the latter one is the smarter choice to take.

A payday loan is generally a payment you ask from your company ahead of your normal paycheck arrival time, in order to make a few expenses that need instant attention, it is a generally fairer way to attain fast cash as credit card payments generally end up building huge bundles of interest on them, which lead to the person being in a deeper financial crisis as the end of the month draws nearer. This has evolved due to people not being able to save up a lot of their earnings as it is very difficult to survive in this time of price hike. People will ask their source of earning to make them a payment in advance to help them survive the difficult times that have come upon them, it is a benefit for them and this form generally has no interest to be paid on it.

We can say the payday loan is the best source to cover for those immediate or emergency payments, but just be sure not to take up more than your actual payment, getting carried away by earning easy money will always bring up a lot of difficulties in the future, and you just might lose your job.

Thoughts on Pay Day Advance

When it’s a matter of life and death situation, or on emergency cases, payday advance is a great help. But unfortunately, our company doesn’t give that option to employees. I was asked several times already by fellow employees if they can avail of this loan but they just got discourage whenever I tell them that we don’t have that kind of loan. But it’s good that now there are companies who give cash loans and approves as fast as one day. Some even approves online application in a matter of minutes. It was good news to them when I told them about this. They finally find hope, hehe. Admit it or not, we all go through that stage when we can’t seem to find help from anyone we know, especially if it concerns money. So it’s good that there are intuitions that offer fast cash like this. It’s just hard on the pocket when payback time comes.

Payday Today...Enjoy Your Paycheck!

Our HR officer looks like a walking cash whenever she arrives here to arrange our payroll. Like right now…everyone is beaming, and excitement is obvious in their eyes, lol! Well, payday is one of the most awaited days of all employees because they will finally receive the fruits of their 15 days of labor. To those who are earning a lot, they will be enjoying their pay check so much. Enough to pay bills, buy important needs, and a portion for their savings as well. But those with payday advance, it’s would be just enough for the payback time. Payday advance is also a big help, we can’t undermine that fact, especially if one is having an urgent need. I just hope that it won’t be a habit for many employees because with this, they cannot enjoy their paycheck once it arrives. We have to be financially wise these days and take control over our fianances and spending habits.

Positive Thinking: I'll Get My Financial Freedom Soon!

Almost three years ago, during my husband’s first contract abroad as an overseas worker, he discussed with me about my credit cards. We even talked about getting a loan from a government institution and then settle all the outstanding accounts from the 3 different credit cards I have. When he gets home after his first contract he discovered that I just consolidated all the accounts in one card so he was not very happy with that decision. It’s because he still believes that using credit cards is not a wise habit for it negatively implies “living beyond your means.” I reasoned out that having credit card is important especially during emergency cases. But even then, he is not sold out with this idea because he said it can lead me into so many unwise purchases and end up with a lot of financial obligations to settle. So, I pray that within this year I will have extra financial blessings for my credit card debt settlement. I know I can still control myself from using these cards but I’ll still want to have my financial freedom. Having credit card debts weigh down a lot of people.

Best Home Mortgage: Finding Your Rate

You have come to a decision: you need a new home to accommodate your new life. Your days have changed and you must find space. Tiny rooms and small corridors will no longer suffice. You need more. But you fear you cannot afford it. Your income is stable but not impressive enough for instant reward; your debt is minimal but still looms; and your expenses fluctuate with the months, demanding more and more. You feel any sort of purchase is beyond you. But, it doesn't have to be. You can create the best home mortgage for yourself. You simply need patience and an understanding of all things fiscal.

To begin, know precisely what your current worth is: detail your yearly income, credit scores, potential investments and debt. These numbers are essential. Without them, you will not be able to calculate what you can afford and what you should never attempt. Know yourself and your limitations. These will define your rates.

Also be certain that you learn the market. Determine the economy and its possible fates. Is it destined to falter or strengthen? Your predictions will prove invaluable, allowing you to create the best home mortgage for your future. You need to follow the trend and anticipate what you will be paying in the years to come.

Finally, you must decide which plan is best for you: a shorter term with higher interest or a longer progression with lower fees. Contemplate how long you intend to remain in your home. Which will best fit your needs? The difference is crucial in crafting a plan that will cost you the least amount of money (and the least amount of worry).

The best home mortgage is one that is tailored for you; but to find that requires an understanding of your present, your future and your desires. Let them each determine what you must do and what you can accomplish.

Due Dates

I had credit cards that need to be paid on time and now that I’m on leave I just check them using the internet. It’s good that I am able to get my online credit report that way, I can be updated with my credit card accounts even though I never get hold of the actual bills. I addressed my bills at work so now that I’m on leave, I’m relying on my online credit card reports online and also through their phone banking services to monitor them. I hate getting financial charges so I don’t want to missed due dates.

Not now

When everybody seems to be raving and/or ranting about the new Cebu Pacific Zero rate promo, I am not ecstatic. Traveling is not our priority at this time. May it be local or even if it's a New York City travel, I don’t care. Yes, I would love to go out… unwind..visit new places..but this time..I can’t. We need to save. Period.

Managing our finances

After hearing the compelling and energetic lecture of Dave Ramsey, I was encouraged to get really serious on the proper and effectivebudgeting and planning of our finances.

Dave Ramsey’s principle is “live like no one else, so that later you can live like no one else”. It’s very simple and easy to say but its really HARD WORK! I want to gain further knowledge on this that’s why I’ll buy his book about this..I told you I’m serious! :D

Our investment this year

Finally, I met an agent who helped us get our own house. She was recommended by a church friend who happens to be a former officemate. She’s working in a commercial real estate company for years now.

She helped us secure a good unit and now I’m just collating all necessary documents to be processed. I am so excited that now, we already got something worthy to invest on.

I just hope that the developer will be able to finish all the units in time so that we can already transfer to a house we can call our own.

As of Today....

we still haven't had a helper yet. So the laundry, cooking, ironing, and cleaning of the house are still on my to-do list every Saturday.

Today is Saturday. As scheduled, I washed the clothes, cleaned the house, washed the dishes, and took care of baby Jaden. I finished washing the dishes and the laundry at 10 am. Good thing Jaden woke up after I finished all the chores. I was able to bathed her and took a bath myself after. I did this all successfully in half a day and was able to read my bible while I'm resting and Jaden was taking her nap.

I realized, maybe we need not hire a helper at all. I can do all the chores by my self. I also realized, salary for a helper will still add to our monthly expenses. If we'll not hire a helper, the cost can be added to our savings...hmmm..... let me think about this again and check with dear husband. Maybe this move is right. :D

Saving...Budgeting..Extra Income

I just opened a savings account for me and my daughter a while ago. This is to finally put a check mark on my goal No. 1 (see this post).

I had one before but couldn't maintain it since the branch is inaccessible for me when I got married. So I had to closed it and open a new. I guess this is the start. I've been meaning to do it way, way back but I couldn't find the time. I think that as long as I haven't had a savings account my plans for saving won't push through. I used to lay away an amount from my earning every payday and labeled it as "SAVINGS" but when a time came that I chance something and wanted to buy it or when my budget got short, I eventually take it out from where I kept it and so, nothing's left to be saved.

This is my plan every start of the year. To saved. I hope this time procrastination won't kick in. I'm really, really eager to make it happen this time. I already started the year with an organized budgeting scheme and a coin bank where I drop every loose change we have, preferably 10 and 5 peso coins. I also started listing every expenses we made everyday, up to the very last centavo. This is to monitor where our money go...I find it very useful.

With an eight-to-five job with an average income and a husband who earns a meager salary (being a nurse in a rural hospital) plus a rented house and a growing child, and the credit cards to pay off (I'm eager to pay them off and get through them)...I know saving and budgeting would be a little hard. But I'm determined.

I'm also looking into getting some source of extra income... I'm searching and looking for ideas and possibilities. And I hope I can find one.

We live simply. But we get by though...with God’s help. And with God’s help, I believe this will happen. We can do it.
