Happy Birthday!

Yes, happy happy birthday to you, my one and only husband. You've been a very good dad to your children, a sweet and caring husband, a responsible family man. Thank you so much for loving us the way you do. You are blessed to have another year added to your life. Be happy even at 40, lol!

Proud to be Pinoy

I was glad to know that there are Filipinos who excel in the field of fashion and cosmetics in other countries. Just recently, a Filipino hairdresser was featured in a TV program. He looks really Filipino though he speaks English when he was interviewed. I could have been more proud if he just spoke in the Filipino language. He was a well-known hairdresser in the US and some of the Hollywood artists that he was able to work with are Brad Pitt and Nicole Ricci. I’m not sure if he was able to study in a cosmetology school in Wisconsin when he was young but I know that he is good that even Hollywood artist trust him to allow him to even touch their hair. Well, all I can say is these Pinoys are really good and they should be proud to be Pinoy!

Four days to go...

...and it will be hubby's birthday...he'll be forty, loL! Last year we just ate out to celebrate it, this time I'm not sure what he wants. He mentioned that he want to go to SM Mall of Asia to view the sunset and let the little girl play at the "Wow Balls". I'm not sure though if we will be able to go with the little boy in tow....hmmm. Anyway, he already knows that I won't be able to give him a gift. I can;t go out since we donlt have a helper anymore. And I also can't shop online, I still don't have my paypal fund...sigh....but I will surely do somwthing to make his day still special...

Sigh....

My sister in law left yesterday...nakakalungkot.

She went to help us when I was about to give birth. She stayed here for two months and she's been a big to help to us. BUt she also have her own family. Her two sons need her. And now that school year is near, she has to be there for them. I will surely miss her. Now we're back to "helper-hunting"...again.

Now Is The Time

The continuous decline of the value of dollar is quite alarming. Even investors are worried for the worst. So now, more and more investors are shifting into gold investments. They opted to buy gold bullion because its value continues to increase. Gold is said to be the safest investment especially in our uncertain economic condition. You can never go wrong in investing in gold even for a simple person. My sister thought of this when she was wrong in a jewelry shop. She invested in gold jewelries. And when she lost her job, these jewelries saved her and her family. Gold is a precious metal and there is no right time to invest in gold. Now is the time.

Laptop

I’m so happy that after two months I can already go out. Yes, even the little one is with us when we go out to get some cool air in the mall, lol! And yesterday was one of those days. We went to SM Marikina just to refresh. We just went window shopping though we walk through the cyber zone to check the latest price of my dream laptop… (I’ve been yearning to get a macbook with a great mac memory). As always there were people in the area sitting on the floor and on the benches tinkering on their laptops. I’m not sure if the area is a wi-fi zone but I saw some people surfing the net, maybe it is. My husband said some of them are just “pasikat” (show-off)…well, I don’t know if that’s a bitterish remark or something, lol! But as for me, I really really want a macbook and I hope to get one someday.

Vain?

My facial skin is lighter now; I managed to get rid of my dead skin cells with the help of a very reliable skin product. It works wonders. Now, my next step is to get rid of my dark under eye. I’m searching for an eye cream that is safe for lactating women so now I’m reading Prevera reviews. They say it’s one of the best anti-aging and eye cream. But I’m also searching for locally available skin care products. Well, I’m acting a little vain after my pregnancy, lol!

Dad and the Kids

I love looking at them..

Marty's

I’m reading a list of alli reviews while munching my favorite Marty’s Cracklin’ Vegetarian Chicharon in salt and vinegar flavor. Isn’t it Ironic? I’m reading reviews about a slimming product while indulging myself to junk food, lol! Well, I love Marty’s since the day I first tasted it. Even though the product claims zero grams transfat and is a “guilt-free “snack, I believe it still contain fats, but who cares? I love it. Hehe! After all I seldom eat junks :D

Wordless Wednesday: My 2 Month Old

More WW entries here.

"Mane" Problem

Hubby experienced excessive hair fall when he worked in Riyadh. We did everything to stop his hair fall when he went home last year. I’ve read and searched for solutions on how to prevent hair loss and we’re glad that it eventually stopped even without us buying those extra expensive topical remedies. Now that he’s returning to work, I’m afraid he’ll have the same problem since the main cause of it is their water supply in Riyadh. Now I wish, we can buy these products that will prevent his hair from falling off before he leave. And I hope that he won’t lose all of his hair, and return home bald after two years, lol!

Life is Amazing

I finally get hold of our wedding album which has been in my parent’s house for almost a year. As I look at the pictures, it brings back memories of that very special day. This year we’ll be celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary, I can’t believe it. It’s seems like only yesterday when hubby proposed. I didn’t received any diamond engagement rings but I was very happy that day. I can’t believe that it’s been 5 years already. Our family has grown, and we now have two adorable kids. Life is amazing!

The Little Lady

This was a portrait taken before her graduation day. Look at her....she looks like a lady. She really is growing fast. Next month she'll be turning 4, haaaay. She's no longer my baby. In fact she's becoming a real big sister. She's naughty most of the time, bullying the little boy, but she really love her brother. She's always ready to help mommy take care of him though sometimes she feeds him with a remote control, lol!

Haay..my little girl, you're really growing so fast and I hope to be the best mom for you forever. I Love you..

My Thoughts As of This Time...

Never mind my title...I can't really think of something. I’ve been staring blankly on my screen for 30 minutes already and still I can’t gather my thoughts to write something creative. I’ve 30 minutes more left to finish this tonight because I need to follow my schedule. After these, I’ll be taking care of my little boy and put him to sleep.

Speaking about the little boy, he’s still awake and “playing” with her aunt. He’s turning two months on the 22nd and he shows advance development. He can carry his neck can be hold (with proper care) on an upright position. Next week, I’ll be going to the mall to check on toys that has striking colors of red and black and mild for babies. These colors are attractive to babies and helps visual brain development. Having a new baby in the house brings back the excitement of a first time mom in me. I’m looking forward to journaling his milestones.

Tumblr

Got this from my brother's tumblr site. I have seen some of his works and I'm surprised to see how creative he's become. Visit his site to see more of this:

A Thousand Miles

My husband’s visa is now ready…we’re just waiting for his passport which will be available on the 15th. Once it’s ready he will be given his flight schedule. Yes, he’ll be working overseas again. We didn’t want to be separated for another two years but then he needs to work. And the work that was given to him is out there…thousands of miles away from us. Don’t get me wrong…I’m thankful that finally he’ll have a job. He’s been jobless for a year and has gone as far as searching the available slots at Houston job search just to look for a job not in the Middle East. But we prayed. And God answered. And this is where He said my husband would go. Return to his previous employer. Now, I’m bracing myself. I’ve experienced being away from my husband for two years. I know we can do this again. But this time, we’ll be wiser with every decisions we’ll make and we’ll pray harder for God’s guidance and direction for our family, that God will see us through.
