Coke Olympic Contour Glasses (addict :D)

I want to collect all five of this this week. A Luminarc glass for P20 for every value meal....hmmm, not bad, right?

So, yesterday I bought three value meals from Mcdo just to get three. But the crew gave me two glasses of the same design. So that means I need to get the three remaining designs.

I decided to take my lunch today at a nearby McDo restaurant hoping to get another glass..but alas....They're OUT of STOCK!

Kainis!! Sayang ang value meal..hmpf!

That means, three more meals from Mcdo for the rest of the week...kakaumay...sigh....

I'll see if I can get one again at McDo Sumulong tomorrow.

Manic Monday #127

Every person you have ever slept with is invited to a banquet where you are the guest of honor. No one will be in attendance except you, the collection of your former lovers, and the catering service. After the meal, you are asked to give a fifteen-minute speech to the assembly. What do you talk about?First, I don't think it would be a large banquet at all...just me and hubby. I'll talk about how blessed I am to have him in my life.

What's your favorite thing to do on a rainy day? Go online, cooked hot soup read a book or watch movies on DVD

Are you a window person or an aisle person? Why?A window person. I love looking out the window when travelling...I love taking pictures even inside the car.

Finally feeling better

This was in me the whole week. The one I'm referring to here. I just want to let it all out and finally get over it.

Last Sunday, our preacher discussed about turning Can’t into Can. As part of her topic, taking criticism positively was discussed. Maybe the Lord was trying to teach me something last week because I encountered criticism right after that service.

It was my birthday. I was the worship leader. I was excited. I was happy. I arrived to church early. I was flattered with everyone’s praises about how I looked. A friend even told me to wear it again. I was expecting that they greet me but to no avail. Well, I thought, that’s okay. At least they gave me compliments…. enough to make me feel better. I never knew happiness will end quickly when ironically, a person quoted a phrase which hurt me. And to think it all happened on my birthday. Instead of birthday greetings, I received disapproval.

What happened? …..For the first time in my whole life I was embarrassed in front of many just because of the dress I wore. I didn’t understand why that person was so strict and ill-tempered that day. He complained about everything…just right after the church service which I think was so untimely! After his long grumbling he looked at me with stern voice and facial expression and said “…don’t wear that again!” …and left. I was stunned. All of us were. But still I didn’t show them that I was affected or hurt. I acted casual. After our meeting, I immediately went home….feeling low. I almost cried. Now I know what the feeling is when nobody remembers your birthday and instead of greeting you, you’re reprimanded… (I don’t want to sound sentimental here, just sharing how I felt)

When I got home, I didn’t tell anyone about what happened. After a while, I received a number of SMS…hah…they finally remembered. They were sorry for what happened. They were all surprised about the person’s statement. A friend also sent me encouraging words which lightened my mood. I sighed….. I know I should take those words positively but for that moment, I find it hard. What was the problem? I know I didn’t violate any dress code…and I even received approval from a number of people.

After what happened I was thinking, how will I deal with that person again? These were on my thoughts until Wednesday. It’s our midweek service. I attended because I was again the worship leader. When I arrived, our head approached me and asked how I was. I said I’m good. She advised me to not let things like that discourage me or get in my way in serving the Lord. Honestly, I became so much conscious now of my look when singing in front of our congregation. Sigh…

Before the service end, he came. I just smiled plainly at him.

All week I was not okay. But after talking to my husband last night, I felt lighter. Hubby has always been the person who really makes me feel better when I’m depressed and sad.

Tomorrow, I’ll see him again… I’ll brace myself with courage because I’m going to sing again. I’m not doing this for him but to the Lord. I know I can’t please everyone. We all have our own perspectives about something. Like what our leader said, I’ll go on. This won’t stop me from doing my work for the Lord.

Whew! That’s it… I feel a lot better now.

If you’re wondering what was the dress? I’m wearing something like this, only with shorter sleeves. Below the knee length. Black thighs and black shoes.

Thinking Positive

During our 2-day business planning last week, our IT Department introduced exciting products which they plan to market over the coming days. We’ve already started our own line of computer products (especially laptops) which kinda excite me to purchase one for my self. They’ve also introduced video conferencing system, network system which will allow a business to save from purchasing a number of computers, 3D software and others. Another department also emphasized the edge of our CCTV system. I think this product can be categorized in one of those gps fleet tracking systems.

I just hope that these business developments will materials and will hit and penetrate the market. We all want to end the year positive so I’m helping through prayers.

Oh by the way, our lap tops are practically priced and very much competetive so if you're iterested, message me :D

My Birthday Celeb in the office

Just want to post some pics during my birthday celebration in our office. My birthday fell on a week end that's why I celebrated Monday together with an officemate who's birthday was that day. It's been a tradition in our office to bring in some food or treat fellow officemates if it's the birthday of someone...so I had no choice. :D

We ordered tuna lemon pasta and ham and cheese bread from an officemate...I brought the all-time favorite chicken lollipop. As you can see, everyone is happy, so the celebrants were happy as well.

I hope on my next birthday they'll forget about the tradition..hehehe :D

So-so

I didn’t get enough sleep last night I feel like taking a leave but I know I can’t since I’m going have a busy day today:

1. I need to finalized the Board Presentation for the Board meeting later
2. Look for a frame at the nearby department store
3. Buy office supplies like, blank CDs, mouse pad, sliding plastic folder and Papermate pens.
4. After office, I need to buy some groceries and ingredients of baked mac which I’m planning to prepare for our church musicians tomorrow. They kept on telling me to treat them…sigh..

I am also thankful that the sheriff has given me extra assignments today. I hope I’ll had a very good day today despite the load.

Running from obligations

Lately, I’ve been receiving calls from commercial collection agencies looking for names of some of our resigned employees. I wonder if they can still collect from these people since as far as I know, they already left the country. That’s what happens when you leave without settling your various obligations. And that I don’t want to happen on me so if ever I leave, I’ll make sure I’ve settled everything. And to these agencies I wish them luck. :)

Another year added!

Though the day was not so nice due to a little hurting words I heard from someone right after church service, I still had a fun birthday celebration with my dear family. Hmmm...who were the top 3 greeters? Hubby was the first person at exactly 12:01 am. Followed by Lilet :D at 6:26 am. and then our VP for Finance.

Also, hubby's gifts arrived last Friday, so I was very Happy. I just hope that next year, he'll be here to celebrate it with me.

I just wish my age would stop at 30, hehehe! But I'm thankful for the blessed 30 years God has given me. Thankful for every blessings each year. Thankful for the loving parents, brother (and brother in laws), sisters, relatives and friends. Thankful for my husband..the love of my life, and daughter my precious jewel.

Happy birthday to me! Cheers! :)

Pag-ibig loan computation

Being so much eager to acquire a house through HDMF, I followed a forum about pag-ibig housing loan. I was able to get fresh and useful infos. Aside from that it led me to this site which I think is very much helpful for buyers like me. The tables below is a listing of net incomes and their equivalent housing loan amounts pegged on the loan terms or the number of repayment years. So with this, you can actually have a glimpse of the amount of salary that will be approved for a specific amount of loan.

The two tables below shows the computation of the monthly amortization.

Through this you can now get an idea of the amount of the property you can avail based on your net disposable income and the corresponding monthly amortization. According to some reliable sources, among the four factors used by the Pag-ibig Fund to compute the amount of housing loan that its members may avail of is their monthly net disposable income. So the higher your NDI, the higher amount of loan can be granted by Pag-ibig. Tip: you can understate your monthly expenses to get a higher NDI.

For more information on how to avail a housing loan, visit their website

Do I need Quinceanera invitations for the house blessing?

Three days before my birthday…

I can’t believe I’m actually turning thirty! Hubby already sent his package for me. I hope it will arrive right on my birthday. I already told him before what I want to get but since he can’t give the one I really really wanted yet…he gave me a PC and a digital cam instead. I was hoping for the DSLR because he promised it to me but I understand. Though I’m still hoping that he’ll send it next time ^_^.

Others may say, I asked petty. I could’ve asked for more! Perhaps one of those luxury watches... It’s my 30th birthday and after 3 days will be our 3rd wedding anniversary. But who needs those expensive gifts? Truth is, I’m happy. I’m excited and deeply touched. ^_^.

New Developer. New Procedure. Back to Zero.

Update on our housing loan application:

So we’ve already withdrawn our application from our previous developer. My agent already returned the requirements I previously submitted. We are now processing documents for the new house we are planning to purchase. Its from a new developer with much more structured policies. The location is still in San Mateo but the lot area is bigger and the house is much better, since it’s a single-attached type.

I already paid the reservation fee last Saturday. Actually the developer didn’t want to accept my reservation since I don’t have enough requirements. They need hubby’s employment contract and an SPA. I only submitted a scanned copy of his employment certificate but I insisted that they accept my reservation since they will be increasing the contract price by 20,000 come Monday.

So this is going to be a lot of work on both hubby and my sides. He will need to go to the Phil embassy and have the SPA notarized and send it thru FedEx. I will have to wait for the documents in order to update his HDMF account and attend counseling on his behalf. Sigh..sigh..sigh… Honestly hubby is quite pissed off with the procedure. He claimed that it’s a lot of work for a busy person like him. He even wanted me to again, withdraw which also pissed me off since I already shed out another big amount. And this time the reservation agreement I signed clearly states that the fee is not refundable. Good thing I was able to enlighten him and encouraged him to just do what needs to be done since every OFW will go through the same procedure whoever developer they get. He later realized that what we got is a good investment. Thank God. But I need to push him to move since we only have 30 days to complete all the requirements.

Compare to the first house we planned to get, the property this time is way better. The village is already developed and the location is pretty nice. The house we got will be constructed after full down payment which is after 6 months or less if we pay in advance. Construction will start after two months. Take out will be after a month. So all in all, we only have less than a year to wait. We’re praying that we’ll be able to process all the necessary documents in time and that there won’t be any problems along the way. I believe that if everything will go smoothly, this is really for us.

Manic Monday #9

What do you do when you are feeling very sad or depressed?
I pray...talk to someone ( a friend, or my sister, or husband) about the matter...or listen to music or go somewhere for fresh air.

Who was your first crush?
My classmate way back in gradeschool.

If given a chance to skip work for a day (without repercussions), how would you spend the entire day?
I'll go to a place where me and my daughter can have fun and enjoy the rest of the day.

Let's do our share.

With the present energy crisis, where fuel and electricity keeps on rising, households should think of ways to save and conserve. A lot of car owners now are opting to use public transports such as buses and trains, which is good because less cars running along public roads, less traffic congestions. I think it’s not practical now to use a car when you can commute with the high cost of fuel at P60 per liter! In the case of electricity, I think houses with wine refrigerators separate from the usual kitchen refs should consider using just one. Also another way to conserve electricity is to unplug appliances that are not in use. Turning them off is not enough. As for me, I unplugged my ref during the night and plug it in the morning. I am not sure yet its effect on my electricity consumption. I’ll find out on my next bill but I hope it will somehow lower my bill.

A singer in the making...

I heard her singing...and guess what’s the song…?

“pepen..apen..iyo..ashen..
hahaw…amm..tututen…
ipit…itom..iyak..lak..ak..abi gagat!”

[Originally it's:
Penpen de sarapen, de kutsilyo, de almasen
How how the carabao de batuten
Sipit namimilipit, gintong pilak,namumulaklak
Sa tabi ng dagat!” ]

and another….

“totom..kitom..itom..
ahango…hagagat..
ayaki…um ayap…
ihiyap..huyi…
akakat…agat!”

[Which originally is:
“Tong, tong tong tong pakitong kitong
Alimango, sa dagat
Malaki at masarap
Mahirap, mahuli
Sapagkat nangangagat !”]

Both with matching actions pa ha.

I silently laughed while listening to her last night. She was just so cute singing these Filipino nursery rhymes and doing the hand actions. And I know she’s loving and enjoying it coz when she noticed that I was looking and listening at her, she quickly ran to me and asked me to join her. lol!

What's happening to me?

I know I need to find reasons to be happy although I am not feeling very well, but though I want to it doesn't show. An officemate even noticed that something is bothering me.

It’s been two weeks now since I felt symptoms of gastroineritis again. Maybe this is because of anxiety, stress and unhealthy food intakes. Lately I’ve not been drinking enough water. I splurge on coke, iced tea, salty and acidic foods…I’m bad. If Jerry’s here, I’m sure I won’t be like this.

Aside from this weird feeling I’m having in my stomach, I am anxious of several things...Truth is, I’m depressed. And because of this I am losing the drive to work let alone going to work. I have tons of work to do but I feel like procrastinating. Sigh…I don’t know what’s happening to me.

And now I still need to write something about Boston resumes. The one and only task I got from the sheriff..:(

Oh well, I hope that I’ll be recharged this weekend. I feel stressed out.
