The Graduate

Just want to share pictures of my daughter who graduated from Nursery last March 23. She got the Most Retentive in the class award. My husband and I were very proud of her. We thought she's not going to enjoy school at an early age of 3 but she did and she was able to last the 10 months. We hope that she will still enjoy her class next school year.

Due Dates

I had credit cards that need to be paid on time and now that I’m on leave I just check them using the internet. It’s good that I am able to get my online credit report that way, I can be updated with my credit card accounts even though I never get hold of the actual bills. I addressed my bills at work so now that I’m on leave, I’m relying on my online credit card reports online and also through their phone banking services to monitor them. I hate getting financial charges so I don’t want to missed due dates.

Let's Support Earth Hour 2010

On the 27th of March 2010 at 8:30 PM, cities and towns across the world will turn off their lights for one hour – Earth Hour - sending a powerful global message that it is time to take action on global warming.

Earth Hour aims to empower individuals to commit to the challenge of solving the climate change crisis. It sends a strong message to world leaders to effect a positive change by calling upon individuals, communities, businesses and government to switch off their lights for one hour. Earth Hour 2010 also aims to send the message that we, the citizens of the world, demand commitment to actions that will reduce greenhouse gas emissions for the benefit of the planet.

In this regard, we encourage you or your organization to play an active and significant role in Earth Hour 2010 through the following ways:
  • Switching off your signages and / or the majority of the lights at all your facilities during Earth Hour

  • Mobilizing your networks, and communities to participate during Earth Hour either by switching off their lights in their homes or attending the Earth Hour countdown event at the SM Mall of Asia on March 27, 2010 from 7:00 – 10:00 P.M.

  • Organizing your own Earth Hour event in your community or locality to widen the reach of the campaign

  • Encouraging your networks and communities to switch from incandescent bulbs to compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs); and

  • Using various communication channels to promote Earth Hour, including official websites, community newsletters and blogs.

My Current Thoughts...

I visited my OB-Gyne last Tuesday for my post-pregnancy checkup. I had complains about the pain I’ve been having on my abdomen that is quite unusual. I remember during my first CS operation I recovered fast, had a flatter tummy and was able to move around after three weeks, unlike now. My OB told me that maybe my abdominal muscle is still on its healing process and is taking a little longer to heal because I had adhesion. She asked me to be patient as it heals and take extra precautions specially in lifting my baby. Oh well...

Anyway, I digress. Do you know about quick trim? It’s what celebrities in the US use to lose weight easily. Well, I’m slimmer now (the sleepless nights helps me lose weight) my only problem is my tummy so I still don’t have to use this supplement. But for those of you who’s interested you can click here to know more about it.

Thankful Thursday: Overwhelmed

It's been ages since my last TT entry. A lot has happened in my life for the past months and so I want to thank the Lord for everything.

Truly God has been very faithful to me and my family. His words and promises are true. For the past 11 months that my husband was here, and didn't have a job, I was amazed at how God met our needs. Bills were paid on time, there's always food in the table, even miscellaneous needs were met. I also thank God for my healthy pregnancy, safe delivery and a healthy baby boy. There were people He used to help us pay for the hospital bills and He continues to use people to bless us. Indeed my heart is overwhelmed. Words aren't really enough to describe how good our God is. And He's proven to be the greatest!

For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise;
he is to be feared above all gods.

Secret!

I often received spam mails about enhancers and whenever I do I immediately delete them. One time I received an email (not a spam though) with this subject: does extenze really work? I got curious so I read on.

If you will ask me what I found out…I won’t tell, lol! Just read some reviews about it for you to personally find out.

WW: My Joys.

This are a few pictures that I love. It's a bonding moment between my husband and our kids. Hubby was changing MJ's diaper with a little help from our daughter. I really enjoyed watching them.

More WW entries here.

I want to get better...FAST!

I hope I’m not just rushing things but I really really want to get back to my normal state again. I want to move around normally and be able to walk normally again. Why? Because until now, I can’t still move around without having to feel the pain of my incision. And I have to recover fast because I have a lot of things to do before I get back to work. Aside from that, I want to have a little pampering for myself as well. I want to get a haircut and foot spa, visit a dermatologist for my skin problems and get prescription for an acne body wash for my brother. I also want my wound to heal fast so I can give equal attention to my children coz as of the moment, we’re having sibling issues already and I can’t give them equal attention because of my condition. Sigh….I do hope that I’m fully recovered by the end of the month..

Back In The Business

I am not a fan of Nora Aunor (hailed as Philippine’s Super star in show business). Even before she got into all the mess on her life, and even before she went to the US, I haven’t been a noranian. But I am glad that she’s now starting to fix her life. Latest news about her talks about her big come back in the business. She will continue her craft again as a Filipino actress, singer and producer. Recently she was reported to be in Hong Kong to have her “new look” done. I’m not sure if she underwent youthology but here’s how she looks now (left) compare to her looks before (right).

Well, I think this is good for her.

Tought For Today

Blemishes

One of the things that I want to get rid of now is my little warts. I got this during my pregnancy. They are black and sometimes itchy. I’m planning to have them cauterized soon when I can already go out to see a dermatologist. I am not prone to pimples or acne that’s why I get irritated whenever I see something on my skin. Blackheads or whiteheads are a no-no for me as well. Thank goodness I don’t have them. Because if I do, I will surely look for products to help me get rid of them. I know that www.blackheadextractors.net can help me on that.

Late.

The little girl was late on her class today. Ang aga pa naman niya nagising at nag prepare for school because her dad will not be able to attend to her. Maaga din umalis ang daddy niya to go to Quezon Province. He told the school service of one of the student of the kinder class to fetch her at ihatid sa school today but alas, manong didn't show up. Nakakaawa tuloy ang anak ko. If I am just well and strong enough ako na ang naghatid sa kanya but this morning I felt dizzy and hard to breathe. So I told my father to get her and send her to school instead. Buti na lang may father is available.

She was late for 20 minutes. I hope this won't happen again.

3 Days Is Enough

Thank goodness I didn’t stay long in the hospital. When my sister had her c-section she stayed in the hospital for 5 days. It’s because it took her two days before she was able to go to the comfort room to detoxify after her operation. She didn’t take a laxative unlike me. I took a laxative so it won’t be hard for me. Other c-section patients suffered from hemorrhoids because of this. So the nurses need to give them hemorrhoids creams to lessen the pain. This sometimes is the reason why they stay longer in the hospital.

As for me I’m thankful to my friend who gave me this tip. I didn’t intend to stay in the hospital for more than 3 days! Aside from the per hour rounds of the doctors and nurses, I experienced having nightmares in the hospital…scary!

It won't be hard.

Just had my lunch. And unlike before I didn’t ate a lot. My eating habit has changed after I gave birth. Now I can’t seem to finished a cup of rice which was normal for me before I got pregnant...Hmm…looks like my old self is going back. And it also looks like I’ll be achieving my pre pregnancy weight even without the help of diet pills. Wow!...

Times passes by...

Time seem to passed me by everyday. Sometimes I find it great since everyday I'm looking forward to my full recovery. Be able to hold my new baby without the pain on my incision or have a time out with my little girl but sometimes I regret it since I know the day will come that I'll be returning to work again.

Talking about about returning to work, I can't imagine what my life would be when that day come. As of now, I'm enjoying to be a work at home mom. I'm quite busy though I'm on leave. I just set up my new home, and now I'm blogging to complete my assigned tasks before their due dates. My eyes are already tired. I'm bad. I know I still have to rest and don't have to stay long on computer screens, but I can't help it. Thank God my husband also understands my situation so sometimes he's the one posting here for my updates. :)

Well, I still have a lot to post here. My birthing story and some pics of the little boy. I hope I can finished them all before I return to work.

My LAST.

After a week I can see that my tummy is slowly going back to its normal size. I still look 3 months preggy though, but I know as the days goes it will eventually shrink without me using any new weight loss products. My face is also shrinking and I’m losing some pregnancy fats already. I can’t wait to finally get back into shape. As of now, I’m still not fully recovered. I still have the pain of my incision (it still has bandaged). My OB said I still have to wait until Saturday to finally take a bath without having to worry that my incision will get wet. Going thru a c-section really is a challenge that’s why I told hubby that this will be my last pregnancy, lol!

Surf thru TV?

I saw a new commercial on TV the other day. One of our local internet providers was offering yet another innovated product. The ad says that you can now surf through your TV using only a modem-like equipment (I think it’s like a set top box with KVM switches). I didn’t understand exactly how it works because the ad only shows videos accompanied by background music. For interested buyers I think they still have to inquire about this. As for me, I’m already content surfing using my pc.
