My sister invited me to watch Transformers at Gateway last Sunday. I agreed at once since I haven’t watched the movie yet, and of course it’s free! :D. It was my first time to watch movie at the Gateway theater so, I’ll charged the rest of the story to Experience.
We arrived there at 4:00pm, there's already a pile of lines to the ticket area. My sister was the one who bought our tickets. We got the 5:20 slot so we decided to just went around the mall to let time past until our scheduled screening (theaters here are on single screening policy). At 5:15 we went back to Cineplex so we can still watch some trailers. My sister bought some snacks before we went inside.
Here’s the funny-embarrassing-unforgettable part:
My sister holds the ticket. As I’ve said, it was my FIRST to watch there so I just followed her steps. She said that we were assigned at seats H17-19. She went all the way up, my brother and I just followed her. As we go up, I already noticed the H row, but I didn’t mind to tell my sister since I trust she knew what to do and where to go. (Some kind of idiocy on my part :D). We passed two rows, then headed to seats numbers 17-19 and sat comfortably, ate our snacks, talked about the trailers being shown when suddenly, we’re interrupted by a group of 3 people.
Girl: “Excuse me, but I think you’re sitting on our seats..?”
I was speechless and muttered, “Huh?”
Then my sister said: “No, this is our seats. H17-18-19…”
The girl replied: “Ganun? Ibig sabihin magkapareho tayo ng number? J17-19…?
My sister: “No, this is H17-19..”
She checked our tickets, then tapped the woman sitting in front of us and said, “Excuse me, I think you’re sitting on our seat?” the girl in front said: “No, this is our seat. It’s I17-19.”....Yaiks!!!...and again Yaiks!
Noticing that chaos, the theater assistant broke in and told us where are seats were. We stood up, heads bowed down with embarrassment, and went to our seats. We never looked back :D.
It was really embarrassing... bakit naman kasi di ko nasabi na lumagpas na kami sa H???

Anyways, we just forget about what happened and enjoyed the movie. Transformers really compensated our day. It was soooo worth watching!
