I pity Marikina River whenever I pass by it on my way to work. The flood brought about by typhoon Ondoy’s left the river to it’s shallow state now. And a lot of weeds have grown. Islets were developed so it’s not as beautiful as it was before. I think the new government should take some action to beautify this river again. I guess an aquatic weed control will also help. I’m hoping to see the restored beauty of the river soon.
